Toronto and other municipalities in the area are installing Speed Cameras in the coming three months. Warning signs are already in place on streets where these cameras will be deployed.

Consumer Electronics Show 2020 is next week. Will Garmin have any new announcements of interest to us here?

The PANYNJ just announced that they are keeping the carpool plan until all electronic tolling is installed. This could go into 2021 depending.

Talk about a reverse money grab! $6+ less revenue, per all the carpool vehicles going across, that's a lot of money. Man talk about good faith!

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

I have been lurking in the weeds, not posting much lately. Life is happening all around me, and I've gotten sucked up into it. I'm in the process of setting up a new Win 10 PC and I'm trying to decide the best email option. Since many here have already converted to Win 10, I'm curious how you handle your email.

Almost time for a new year. Most that make resolutions falter but even so it's interesting to hear what people plan to do in the new year to improve themselves.

The SECURE Act has made a major change to the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) rules. Instead of having the required beginning age for RMDs set at 70.5 (or when retired, if later) it has been pushed to age 72.

It’s once again time to reflect on the things you enjoy about POI Factory and consider the members who help to make this community the great place it is.

Volunteers contribute to our community in a variety of ways. Some share their experience or expertise in the forums. Some make and maintain POI files or FAQ pages. While others submit sound files, BMP icon images, or location updates.

Not only has he continued updating the files he maintains, but he overhauled the Burger King file;

Added 804 locations
Deleted 529 locations
Relocations/address corrections 139 locations
Net increase of 275 locations

with only one eye!

My cousin, who is 8 years older than me and lives alone, broke his patella (kneecap) while taking out the recycling.

Lessons learned:

When we are taking a trip with the GPS, we go out fully equipped, but for a short trip for the recycling we are not ready.

It's dark in the evening this time of year; turn the lights on and put your glasses on. Wear shoes, not slippers.
