We are still afraid to go anywhere. Don't want to chance my husband getting the virus. I don't think he would survive it with his cancer.
I can't believe places have opened up as yesterday some places had their highest day of cases.
Watching some webcams and almost no one is using mask in at Port Aransas.

Those who want to wait 12-18 months have to be rich and overly prepared. No one I know has those resources.
Those who choose to go out and continue life have to be prepared..... no guarantees. Influenza, common cold and regular diseases that exist continually in our environment are and will remain present with varying degrees of consequences. Many of which are fatal also. Distancing and hand washing, among others, are not only good for the current virus but for all diseases and should always be practiced!
I for one do not need to be told what to do. Give me valid and complete info and I ensure you that I can/will make my own choices. Governments' expertise tend to be too skewed/biased/politicized to pretend to know your preference and/or choice.
I feel sorry for those who blindly/naively rely on government officials whose only competency is that they received more votes than anyone else.
In the end, regardless of your decision, your choice... your right .... don't let anyone take that away from you.... and please don't blame anyone else if you don't like the results.
