I'm sure this has been asked before, but I was unable to find any information on it. Why are there no fuel station POI's listed, other than just fuel brand .bmp images? Would the files just be too large and ever-changing?

and wonder if anyone on here has any knowledge of how well it works? They seem to offer a GPS service with a combination of cell tower and satellite reception. This is regardless of what your service provider includes in your package.

I think it only works with Blackberry models but before I left that website I was not sure which models.

Hi everyone. Great work here, I can't believe the effort that's been put into these POIs. Once I get a grasp of how it all works, I hope to be able to contribute...

I am very new at this poi stuff and have plenty of room on my sd card but when i load southwest campgrounds it only goes out about 1800 miles from here in pennsylvania.... when i get closer driving to say arizona will more poi's show up on my garmin c-550?_____

Hi, I am happy to have heard about "POI Factory"!! Now I will learn how to use this site as a member. I'll be talking to you all as I get use to all of the tools that can be used.

I've been finding it very tough to keep up on the latest posts now that we have 106,000 (or so) members. Is it possible to add more Active Forum Topics to the list instead of just 7? Maybe like 15-20? Pretty please?

I received my free nuvi 200 gps and went to garmin.com site and logged it in and was given a free update to the 2009 maps. I paid $10.00 for the dvd so I would have a copy if I needed it later, other wise the download was free.

Does anyone know if an external battery charger is available, for the Nuvi 880's removable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery or does it have to be charged while in the unit itself?

I saw that the nuvi's and zumos had no problem using the voice utily file for there TTS units. Unfortuantely, I noticed that not to many with non-tts really experience any results or didn't notice to many...has any non-tts member sucessfully done it?

i am looking for a program that will check for duplicate Poi entries in my excell spread sheets (csv format)

Growing up in a small midwestern farming town, I used to like to find railroad crossings to sit at, or on an overpass and look down as a train would come through. I still have a few pictures of passing trains.

Does anyone know of a program that works on the Mac, for customizing TTS .vpm files?
