Online Maps Wiping Out History?

 

The BBC has a story "Online maps 'wiping out history'"

Since POIs are located on these maps, I thought perhaps others might be interested.

How can POIs "Save History?" How can we promote tourism? What's important? What's not? Are we contributing to the masking of history?

Is Stonehenge just a pile of rocks? After all you can't eat them. You can't sleep there. You can't kill wildlife there. You can't get your car serviced there.
