Got woken up by an earthquake about an hour ago here in Illinois. That was wild!!!

Boudreaux died and was on his way down to hell. In anticipation, the Devil turned up the thermostat to make it extra warm for Boudreaux. When Boudreaux arrived, the devil asked, "Hey Boudreaux, how do you like it down there?" Boudreaux says. "Mais, it's just fine. It reminds me of summer on the bayou." That made the devil mad. That night, he turned the thermostat up all the way it could go.

I have a friend who has been hired by the U.S. Census bureau to do Census work in a fairly rural area of Georgia. The maps for the area are really poor and he is considering his first GPS unit.

He does not have a lot of $ to spend on a unit, and I suggested he check out a Nuvi 650, which I have, because I found a refurbished one on sale on Amazon (http://goo.gl/LXXV) for only $165.

Hello all,

I noticed that when I go to Bing maps I can send my found address and other data to my GPS however if streets and trips launches Bing Maps I can's send.

Im hoping that there will be a patch to S n T so that it passes the data to BING.

All of this trouble came about when Google maps stoped sending to my GPS.

I am Bill, 1st time owner of a street GPS. I have a Nuvi 255w. Still learning the basics of it. Is it possible to plan routes like on Google maps or something? Is there a "Mark this spot" setting on it? Anybody else have this one? How is it being a Garmin owner?

Hey all, I just need some quick advice on a route for my upcoming trip. I live in New Jersey and am currently scheduled for an RV trip to Wichita Falls TX this weekend with returning plane ride home on Presidents day. PRoblem is this snow is not letting up with already atleast another foot in the forecast. I was planning on leaving Wednesday but with the snow I'm working on a tuesday departure.

In Extra POI Editor do all the alerts have to be in the form of a Tour Guide?

I loaded the HD Dealers into my Garmin 550, no problem, also I loaded the HD icon into the same folder as instructed, I was hoping as I drive the Icon or POI would pop up as I neared it, is that how it should work?

Well, here we go again, Another snow storm headed for
the mid atlantic and parts of the north east.
Looks like here in NYC, they are expecting anywhere from
4 to 6 inches or more depending on the track.

I tried to send a few address to my Nuvi 260 and found that Google Maps no longer has the "Send To" feature. I reinstalled Garmin Communicator as a precaution, but it still isn't there.

I used the feature just a few days ago and it worked fine then.

Am I the only one, or is it gone for all?

no thanks to those damn TurboTax commercials.

I still hate TurboTax for when they tried to do that computer-activation non-sense.

I've used TaxCut ever since and don't want to give TurboTax a penny.

But I can't seem to get away from those annoying GPS commercials. Just when I think they're about GPS, they start jabbering about TurboTax.

The "Send" option has disappeared from Google Maps. I selected a destination point on the map and today there doesn't appear to be a way to send to my Garmin GPS. I've tried several different searches and even in IE7 and Firefox but still no "Send" button to click.

Anyone else see this today?

I like to use the "Recent Posts" link to scan through the list for the red "new" and "updated" tags on POI file listings. Does anyone know of a way to remove these tags after browsing the list without clicking on each item individually? The "Mark all posts as read" selection doesn't seem to affect these tags.
