And the snow goes on...

Seventeen inches in Central Park and counting.
Last night the Mayor said the NYC schools would be open but thought differently by the morning. Here in Long Beach they decided that the schools would be closed. My office actually closed. We figured we would make an adventure about the whole thing and suited up the kids and hiked to a local diner for breakfast. Bellies full, it was shoveling, sweeping and snow-blowing. We followed up with a family movie and some games. Certainly a nice day thus far although we are more than ready for spring!

We received about 18 inches so far here in Brooklyn,
Expecting maybe another 2 inches before its all said
and done. Quite a morning for me, Shoveling on end , now getting ready for work sad. Public transportation is running but with some delays- its better than than taking the Car..

Indeed!

We seem to have escaped the white stuff this time but we've been getting some hellatious winds here in MD, gusts to 60 according to AccuGuess and I believe it. Kind of scary with all of the big trees around here...

We got just over 3 feet here between the two storms a couple of weeks ago. I really love a good snow but that was ridiculous.

At least all that shoveling will start you on your way to getting back in shape if it doesn't kill you. Not the best time for a stress test when there's practically no hope of any emergency services getting to you in time.

Winter storms

Yeah, the winter storms stink. The projected Sunday high here in Phoenix is only 63 and I may have to wear a jacket. They say it could be raining, too!

You'll get your revenge when it's 125 here in August, though......

You guys buy a snow blower and stay warm!

Just a reminder

Just a reminder for those that live where you typically get little or only a few inches of snow a year..

Be sure to get the snow off of the roof on carports & sheds. I know from experience that they don't always collapse right away & may take a day or three. shock

Be careful out there & good luck.

It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.
