Basically, my wife and I attended an event yesterday, and I am not sure if there is an official attendance number, but I thought I heard 800,000.
The line to get in, that we used, took about 4 hours.
In that 4 hour procession, we witnessed dozens of people cut the line, it was very interesting. What was at stake was multiples of an hour wait.
This is the place to talk about things that are not GPS related.
This thread will be closed on Monday and a new one will be opened.
Has anyone else had problems opening this site this morning?
I must have tried it 50 times before it went to the Prime Page.
All other sites have had no problems.
How many of our members are affected by the VW TDI diesel fiasco? I am glad I am not, but feel bad for those that are. The GM ignition, Toyota accelerator and multi-brand "air bag" controversies were bad enough, but this one seems to me to have the potential of even greater damage to the consumer who owns the product. How will the "fix" affect the product? Reduced economy? Poor performance?
This week we’re recognizing CraigW, alandb and t923347 for the work they put in to helping ttait with his 2460 issue.
2460 Not Showing Roads After 2016.10.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and suggestions with a fellow user, and thank you ttait for letting us know how it worked out. An honorable mention for you!
I got a new Prius two weeks ago tomorrow and this week got a new 3597 for it. The Toyota gps isn't "all that". I had a 3790 prior to that. The 3597 has a sharper looking screen it seems like. I'm still getting used to it but I like it so far. I love the car. Getting over 50mpg almost everywhere I go is pretty cool.

Here's an interesting article:
Is GPS ruining our ability to navigate for ourselves?
I'm not sure about how much I agree with; e.g., have the GPS plan a route, study it at home, then drive to the destination without the GPS's help

In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
