Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – March 2016

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Side note: I was out all of last week with an awful sinus infection, complete with two full days of vertigo!
I'm on the mend now, but still not working to full capacity, so if you have sent in information, please be patient as I catch up.

Hello all - And a question for you clever people

HI all

I have question and I've been searching this site and everywhere else on t'interweb and can't seem to find the exact info I need. So this seemed like the perfect place to ask.

I need a very specific function when I'm working. I need my gps or phone or whatever to alert me when I'm in the proximity of a poi. Easy, right?

RED LIGHT CAMERAS in Orange County Florida

An Orange County court ruled on Friday that a third-party was not allowed to determine whether a driver ran a red light or not.
Kelly Hastings filed a lawsuit against the city of Orlando after she got a red light ticket, arguing a third party shouldn't be allowed to issue tickets.

iPhone 7 Rumors

So I've been in a very happy relationship with my iPhone 6+, minding my own business, when rumors of what the iPhone 7 might have began. One of the features I'm still most impressed with my 6+ is the camera. Now I hear the 7+ is supposed to have a significantly improved camera! My weakness. I guess instead of getting the newest Nikon, I can "save money" by getting the 7+ instead?

Need help signing petition

We all know police officers have one of the most dangerous job. I do not know if you are familiar with this particular story but two rookie New York City Police officers were doing patrol in one of the most dangerous housing projects and at the end an innocent person was killed due to an accident. It's disgusting on what the officer is going through right now.

This week we are recognizing, CraigW!

For years CraigW has been consistently at the top of our weekly lists for time spent and number of posts made helping other community members.

When Muell9k was having difficulty reaching us due to an issue with yahoo mail, he contacted CraigW to help relay the message. I think that says a lot about CraigW’s character and reputation in the community.

Muell9k

Earlier today, Jonathan and I received a note from Muell9k letting us know that he suffered a stroke in January. He’s lost his language skills and is receiving therapy, but it will take a long time for things to return to normal for him. As such, he won’t be able to respond to emails or participate in in the discussion forums.

270 miles off track because of spelling error

When Noel Santillan typed the word Laugarvegur instead of Laugavegur into his rental car’s GPS, the New Jersey resident couldn’t have imagined that the extra “r” would make him something of a celebrity in Iceland.

This week we are recognizing, mgarledge!

Mary has been a member of POI Factory for coming up on 7 years.

She’s friendly, supportive, helps keep me on my toes (like the gentle reminder that the Chitchat thread usually has an actual week attached to it, not just the month razz) and she was our #1 poster over the last week .

Front and backup camera on 1 monitor with split view

Hi,

does anyone here know a system with 2 (waterproof and night vision) cameras (front + rear) hard-wired to a monitor with a permanent split view of both cameras (not connected to the reverse lights)?
