I'm putting this content into the general discussion group because a Garmin user may get an email similar to what I've received. I don't currently own a TomTom although I did almost 20 years ago. Anyway it is an email offer to get a new TomTom. The email comes from noreply@emails.tomtom.com and has a "Buy Now" button to receive a 35% discount on a new purchase.

I have been trying to send an update for the Burger king POI to mahoney via the contact tab. Have also checked the box to send myself a copy. Since he hasn't responded, I assume he isn't getting the messages. And I am not getting a copy either. Is anyone else having issues sending messages on POI Factory?

2 1/2 hours of eclipse packed in to 16 minutes. Apparently I took 315 still shots. I guess it would have been better on a camera stand and without the occasional cloud cover but here's my contributions to the zillions of eclipse pictures you'll see today.

Taken in my backyard in Southeastern PA with a Lumix camera and solar filter.

The Key bridge was hit by a very large vessel around 1:30 AM and has essentially been demolished. Hopefully devices will provide suitable alternative routing for travelers. Updates on the event are at numerous sources including, https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2024/03/26/baltimore....

Concerning iOS 17.4.1, Apple released iOS 17.4.1 Thursday, more than two weeks after the company released iOS 17.4. While iOS 17.4 brought new features to your iPhone, like new Stolen Device Protection options and transcripts in Podcasts, iOS 17.4.1 includes a handful of security and bug fixes for your iPhone.

A friend called my a while ago. He is using a USB GPS receiver amd is looking for navigation software with maps for it. Does anybody here have any thoughts on what to use?

Is there a way to make Google Maps on the laptop get data from the GPS receiver and do navigation?
