I just purchased a Nuvi 205W and I like it a lot but I am confused with the way POI's work on the device. It seams that there are 3 places where I can store POI's with repeted categories. lets say I want to add a Hospital that isn't on the default POI list.

I just received my (second) StreetPilot C550 after the first one was destroyed (another story!)

My problem is that when I go to "Food, Hotels..." all searches yield "No Matches Found." It worked fine until I went through the registration process (think it updated some things but don't know what)

I had stopped with my Nuvi 260 in my pocket for 3 to 4 hours. When I returned to the car and put the unit on the mount I had lost all of my favorites, Only the Garmin locations for USA, Europe, and Canada appeared in favorites. It also asked me to register the unit. Luckly the unit had the hotel we were traveling to in its POI index.

It passed.

I have a bone to pick with Jack, my SP7200 navigator. He has been so spot on that I trusted him for the first (and last) time yesterday.

I am new to the GPS scene and i need to know how to delete a vehicle from the internal memory. I was able to download and extra the vehicle bundles and load them onto my GPS, however, I want to remove some of the vehicles that I know I will never use. Your help with this process is appreciated.

Well the wife and I decide to try out the SaversGuide offered by Garmin in our Nuvi 350. I had a 10% off discount code and I thought it might be useful. It arrived today and got it installed...but it expires in 10 months, not the 12 months as offered. I fired off an email for an explanation, and I'm waiting to hear back. If this SaversGuide works out for us I might consider renewing it next year.

Witch model of nuvi is better, I need the Blue tooth?

I recently purchased my first GPS. A nuvi 880. Pretty sweet I must say, but I had a question for other nuvi owners. When you edit a phone number, do hyphens get automatically inserted? Mine doesn't and I think it looks a little ugly. Here's a screenshot.

I have a Nuvi 750. Recently I found out if I stopped somewhere before destination and turned off the car, the route disappeared after I turned on the GPS again. Anyone else have the problem or know how to fix it? I called Garmin and they could not help me.

When backing up the 660 , do i backup just the folder that says Garmin ?

Sorry, but the information is there somewhere, except I could not find it using search.
I am throwing away my 660, and before I do, I would like to save my custom poi and favorites.
There was a topic on how to save them and later put them back in the folder.
Anyone post a link to that process?

hello i put in alot of poi files and set the alert tomes then i downloaded the voices i followed the directions to name the sound file the same as the poi file but i still get the attention tone what did i do wrong

I was holding my nuvi 360 in my hand and my finger was resting on the clock. All of a sudden a new diagnostic type screen opened up. There is a next and back button on the bottom as well as lots of different buttons on each screen as you page through the next buttons. I did not touch anything, but for the techies out there it looked pretty impressive.
Anyone know what all those screens do?

Has anyone deleted any factory installed voices taking up space from their 700 series? How is this done, what affect did it have?

I am trying to download a gpx file from EveryTrail to my Nuvi 260. I have installed the Garmin Communicator. When I download the file to either the SD card or the Garmin GPX file, it disappears after I disconnect from the unit. Where am I going wrong?
