Garmin GPS and Nikon D90

I just got a Nikon D90 and anticipate purchasing the Nikon GPS accessory, but has anyone heard of a cable that would work with the Garmin eTrex Legend and the camera?

USB might

My Etrex has USB, I am not sure if they make a mini usb to mini usb cable but I would think that would be the only way it would recognize it. The Legend would be a great companion if it does link
