Garmin talk

Leaving from my place to go to a friend's house (both listed in my favorites) I get one route. Going from my friend's house back home, I get a different route--what's up with that??

My settings are for shortest route, and regardless don't change between the away and return trip--so why does my Garmin 765T give me different routing? FWIW, my Nuvi 360 would do the same thing........

When I tried to do a webupdater, where it ask to find the unit. It comes back unable to find the unit, it states to change the interface option to Garmin or Hoss. How do I do that.

Playing with my 775T last night and I decided to turn off the 3D maps for NA, and Europe, as I use 2D only.

After using it today, I noticed the touch screen was far more accurate, and no misses for entering addresses, or any other icons. My only conclusion was it cut down on the processor load, and freed up a fair bit of memory as well.

Where are all the cameras?

Another "newbee" here. We recently purchased a 765T.
GPS works great......so far.

The Garmin 1390T uses street names instead of route numbers. Is there a way to make the Garmin tell me street numbers and the names?

Is there a way to find the lat/long coordinates of Favorites that are already saved to a GPS? I have not been successul in finding that information.

I know I can download it through a couple of downloadable programs available but I hoped there may be a way to view them without downloading.

The one that goes from the flip up antenna into the body. I just did a stupid thing. Anyone got a source / price? thanks /mark

I have a old nuvi 350 that i bought years ago, it's a brick. I think it needs a new touch screen now. I'd like to repair it. Anyone have any advice to some, or should i just do garmins flate rate repair?

Going down a flat highway on cruise control my speedometer shows my truck going 73 mph--Nuvi 765T says 68--who's right?

A 1999 Tacoma 4x4 ext cab is my main rig. I run 31 10.50 R15 tires which came stock on my TRD version. I know that oversized tires and/or rear diff mods can impact speedo accuracy, but generally speaking the GPS should be more accurate right?

What is the fastest way to delete all waypoints in my 255W without deleting them individually?

Hi all,
My clock is showing an hour later than the actual time. I deselected "automatic" & set it manually so now the clock shows the correct time but when I set a route the arrival time is still an hour off. Interestingly, its world clock shows that today is Monday July 16, 2029 (time flies).
