There is a new firmware update for 37xx series.

I just received a refurbished nuvi 350 for one that quit working correctly....I cannot get it to stop doing the speed alerts....I have gone into the proximity settings and unclicked them but it continues to do it......

Has anyone here figured a way to remove unwanted phone numbers from the 765t ?
A few years ago I vaguely remember reading that you have to remove them from the phone first, then turn everything off for minutes, then turn on, and Voila !

I tried it and it doesn't work for me!!!

I own it and I simply love it. Some of the features that I like are: Great graphics, TOPO terrain view, 3D view at city centers, good HD traffic, road avoidance, reliable, and fast recalculations .

Have been using MapSource for years and now I need to upgrade to BaseCamp but I am having trouble importing my data from Mapsource. Basecamp does not recognize my files no matter what format I save them to in Mapsource.

Now that my replacement Garmin Nuvi 350 is here, I have been spending some time configuring it how I like it. I did notice this morning that the Auto Zoom is on and it looks like there is no longer a way to disable it from the unit currently.

I have a Nuvi 1450 and today I installed the new maps but I'm not sure that everything went correctly.
First I downloaded the large JCV file and stuck it in a folder on my PC.

I'm the New Kid on the Block and see lots of new Places (McDonald's) NOT on these POI Files, so how do I go about getting them Added to a POI File?

I have a Garmin Nuvi 2460 with a power mount on my dashboard. The GPS sits in the power mount so that I do not need to connect and disconnect the cable each time I use it Essentially, the base connects to the power cable which contains an FM traffic receiver. I live on the outer fringe of the Philly suburbs and find that the FM traffic reception is poor.

Recently bought Nuvi 1450 and saw on "Google" how to dsplay 3 data windows on right hand side as opposed to bottom.

Now I can't figure out how to do it, and can't find it on Google again.

Any current users know how to do this?

Installing the NT 2013.30 update today, using the Garmin website. After downloading the maps to my desktop, I then noticed the following:

Nuvi 1490T w/ 4 meg microSD card

Map Updater sees the unit, displays a message saying part of the update will be placed on SD card, and proceeds to complete installation.

Nuvi 260 w/ 2 mem SD card

I noticed that suddenly my Nuvi 765T takes much more time to acquire satellites. Several months ago it was literally 10 seconds, now it's 2-3 minutes. What gives?

I appreciate the fact that one of us in the Forum Created an ARCO Icon, however, it is s-o-o Small that I can barely tell its even there. Does anyone have maybe just a Smidgen Larger ARCO Icon? The current ARCO Icon works OK but I would like to see it Bigger.

When I downloaded the latest map update I was told the map was too large for my internal memory. Rather than use an SD card, I chose to download the smaller file.

Does anyone know what I may be missing? Am I missing important pieces of the database, or just some geographical areas I may never visit?

I wish Seinfeld or Kosmo Kramer had a voice over for a Garmin GPS system...

I created a gpx using EPL, with 2 text locations, and set a photograph and a alert .wav file for each location

I see that the pic is seen in the GPS, but the .wav file aint playing at the proximity setting.

Is this even possible ?

I do have the poi-factory POI's with the .wav files working, but thats 1 WAV file for every POI set..

I went out and bought myself a new garmin the 2595lmt. I am pretty impressed with it. the voice activation really comes in handy.
