1390 Freezes at GARMIN bootup page

power on/off.
hold power button for up to 60 seconds.
Powerup while pressing corner, tried all four corners.
removed face plate, there is no reset button.
charged up for hours, let run down while showing GARMIN logo...
Tried all these things, yet Nothing changes.
Any other ideas for frozen nuvi 1390?

I read in an post the other day that this happened and they took the gps and hooked it up in the car and it started up.
Maybe worth a try??
