What were you trying to update?

I am able to connect to all types of software updates on the Garmin website. ┌(-_-)ゞ゛

Wow, that's cutting them some slack. All web sites and servers will occasionally be down. Sometimes due to things beyond their control. Check back later and see if you are able to connect.

Still not working been a few hours, that's what it says in my dashboard. RLC file updates ok.

3rd day so emailed Garmin support, they should be able to fix it or simply say we've been down for a couple of days.

What I did notice is they seem to have some issue with firefox and myDashboard.

When I went to IE instead, same error, however, launching WebUpdater worked and said that I have the latest software. I tend to check every 3 weeks or so for any updates, and I have the cyclops subscription. So maybe the problem has been going on for up to 3 wks.

No problem for me

I was able to navigate around support.

Maybe you need to clear your browser cache

I have run into this message before in the past.

Maybe due to maintenance of their servers ?

Just to be clear this message appears in the the software update section of myDashboard. What happens if you use Webupdater, which is probably the better, safer, way to update your Nuvi anyway.

Thanks T9, Webupdater did work....if that's the case, I'll just stick to it. I do realize that the web is simply a front-end for something else.

Garmin was good enough to respond, they said sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully it would be working again today (Monday).

Just as the rep said, they would hopefully fix it on Monday (today). If webupdater is more reliable, that's what I'll use going forward.
