Hello all, I posted this question in the general forums, but did not have much luck.

Is there any way to share Garmin map themes with the community for the models that support them?

I'm sorry in advance if this isn't an appropriate outlet for this type of thing.

I am looking for a right angle mini USB cable to power my Garmin Nuvi 360. Are they all pretty much created equally or are the pin-outs different on any of them? I will use this to plug into a Scosche 12 volt to USB power plug in the vehicle.

My 1490 LMT has been very slow to start up lately.

When I plug into car socket. It displays "loading maps" for 3 to 4 minutes before showing me the agreement blurb. Even when I press agree, the unit is very slow to react. Once it's on and running, everything works fine.

I've always made sure the latest firmware updates are done.
I'm loaded with 2014.10 with the large JCV file.

After much effort, I have a received the response below from Garmin.

In fairness to the people in Customer Support Group, that worked on this, I believe that it was like pulling teeth, to get even this from their Software/Engineering Group. Needless to say, I am not happy.

They have suggested that we go to their Ideas Site and request the changes:

Garmin now has red light camera service with their garmin app. Have anyone tried this in compared to the ones on poi factory?

I recently started using the Garmin Smart Link with my iPhone 5 and brand new Nuvi 2797LMT (a great new 2013 GPS from Garmin by the way). I purchased the premium live services from within the app but I seem to be having some difficulty with the Live Traffic.

ugg.. i made the mistake yesterday of listening to my Garmin and going on local roads instead of sticking to I95.

there was a car accident. 1 of 4 lanes was blocked during beginning of rush hour.

i knew from past experience that local roads is NOT faster since the GPS doesnt take into account traffic lights. it only calcs by speed limit.

I noticed for the last several months that traffic info on my Nuvi 765T is very poor in Toronto area. Most of the times, traffic icon does not even show up and some times it stays grey. Where as I get full traffic signal on my Nuvi 1490LMT. Has anyone experienced poor traffic signal in 765 in GTA?

I am trying to track down an issue with my refurbished 3590.
It is not displaying the split screen turn information as
the vehicle gets close to the appropriate intersection
during an active route. The 3590 continues to show the wider view with the various streets and an arrow showing the turn.
There is no voice announcement of the pending turn either.

I am currently running my 3790 and 855 in the car at the same time to look for any differences in functions.

When I turned on the 855 this morning I got an error message "Missing Kernel".

I have the LARGE JCV file on a 4GB SD card in the Garmin\JCV folder and the 2014.10 internally in the 855

I only see one place to put POI's that I download from the Factory....it's into "other Categories" in a place called "custom POI's"

I have ,so far, at least 7 categories of places I would like to put on my garmin 2595LMT

Do I have to jumble them all together or is there a way to have sub categories?

Y am new here and y would like first congratulate the POI FACTORY for for all the use-full informations available here.
Last year I bought a Garmin 1490 and y would like now update the US and Canada Map (2014.10)Unfortunately even with 4Gb micro sd on my garmin there is not enough memory available to achieve to load the map.

I recently took a trip and the Garmin worked well. Now I need to delete the stops I had. I didn't make a route which would have changed all the time. I made the stops in Basecamp and I can delete them in Basecamp. But how do I get them off my nuvi 1450? Without sending them back to Basecamp?

After I installed the new map on my nuvi 750 the touch screen is unresponsive. It will not even do a hard reset.

Any suggestions besides get a new one?

Do most places in the US that have red light cameras have a photo enforced sign warning drivers?

In Long Island, NY, they do NOT have photo enforced signs warning drivers.
