Today, I first time experience HD traffic. As soon as we entered Fort Erie border to US, HD traffic kicked in. Saw lots of incidents and weather coverage etc.

Cyclops safety camera was disabled on 2013 Nuvis - I have a 2597LMT. I found POI Factory to cover me in the USA. But if I go to Europe, POI Factory has no coverage there, and it is not clear if I can get Cyclops to work on my 2597. (I just got a note from Garmin that suggests that it might...or might not...Groan!) Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

My GPSmap 62stc EXTRA POI list will not display any POI point with a longitude between about E 30 21.278 and E 159 57.430. They are in the POI file, both .csv and .gpx but will not show on the unit’s POI list. The points were generated in Base Camp, exported to my computer, converted from .gpx to .csv and uploaded to the GPS (both .csv and .gpx files of the same data) using POI Loader.

I routinely download my tracks from my 855 to Mapsource. Following a recent trip Ottawa/Toronto return. I set up routes for both directions. On my return, I found there were not tracks generated. There were no tracks generated for my travel around Toronto for the three days I was there. Is this the norm?

Hello to all members of POI Factory. I have one question. I bought a Garmin 2595 which I will use most in N. America. This one has Lifetime maps and traffic.

What I want to know is, if I go to Europe, buy maps of Europe on SD Card) does it works properly.
Does Garmin have (lifetime updates) European maps on SD Card.

I have a Garmin 1450 with the 2011.10 internal map,when I click on Map and Map info it show me the map.

Formatted the Nuvi OS drive and need the replacement firmware files for a Nuvi 1300, any help would be greatly appreciated! Can someone copy them to a zip and send me a link?

Also the drive doesn't mount via usb on my computer and only get a splash screen on the garmin, do i need special firmware loading software to mount the drive again.

Duh! On my part. I cannot find the link to get Garmin Map Updater.

I had it saved in Firefox bookmarks, but Firefox won't work after latest Windows update.

I have used the loader and it tells me I have removed my installed POI's but they are still listed, any tips?

With some of the problems previously posted I tried uploading new maps to my C550 first. Launched express, found the unit and said update was available. Started downloading and stopped saying there was an error.

Anyone want to see something strange with the New NA 2014.2 maps, just type in "Kure" without the "" in the search window on the unit itself and look at the results. I think it's time for Garmin to look elsewhere for maps. Tell me what you think after doing this little experiment.

What is the difference between map updater and express?

Does either update software and maps?
Which is preferred if so?

Then there is Web Updater. Is that relevant any more?

if you just tried to upgrade maps and got hung up. get rid of express and download the new version, it worked for me.

I know this subject has been covered before, but the Prior ver Express didn't cause issues, though the latest seems to not play well with another driver.

The past few days I've been having issues with a driver for other hardware loading since I upgraded Express and downloaded new maps a couple days ago...

2 of my garmin model 755T's lost the traffic icon recently. Any one else have this issue? Could there be a file I'm missing on the system folder?

I have a couple friends with new Zumo 660s. Does the 660 use full-screen or split screen Junction Views and if full screen, do map updates to them receive the large JCV by default? If not, does the large jcv work well on the 660?

I think the 660 is a 4GB device so if useable, the large jcv would need to go on a SD card--the /garmin/jcv folder?

I never really thought about this before but stumbled across premium voices today. Some of the samples are pretty funny. Pigtones.com and other sites have these.

Has anyone installed any of these things, and if so, what was your experience? For example, I can't tell if using one of these causes you to lose the street names during navigation. It seems like it would but I can't be sure.

I have a 4G SD-card in my navigator.
How could I use this card?
The navigator tell me that I only have 100M left at the navi but nothing about the SD card.
I should buy some more maps, USA and Malaysia and the speedcameras.
Where to put them so I can use them?

I have a new Garmin Nüv 3597 and have some questions. Take them in separate threats:

1. I make tours to different countries and want to store each trip at the PC so I can save the trip until next time I should go.
Its little complicated save all tours in same folder.
I name the tour: Scotland 1, Scotland 2 etc. (where number is the day of tour).

Garmin Express is showing that 2014.20 is available for download.
