Nuvi 1250

A friend has a Nuvi 1250. Can the JCV file be used in it? If so which size would it be? The Large, mid or small file?
If it can use it, I assume it should be on a micro SD card.

Thanks for any info.

There's another large .jcv floating around

I recently updated a Garmin Nuvi 54LM to the latest map and replaced the 54LM's default .jcv with the traditional large JCV file that we have all downloaded from here. When I tested it, I got no Junction Views at all. Upon further investigation, I found out the .jcv file that comes with the 54LM is named D3478060.JCV and is 127,023 KB in size, which is larger than the default small .jcv file and smaller than the default large .jcv file that we're all familiar with.
I restored the original .jcv file but haven't had the chance to see Junction View in action. I assume it works but I have no feel to how extensive this new .jcv file is.

Anyone know if a second large .jcv file exists for the 54LM?

On another note, the 54LM is a nice unit. It's a replacement for the 1450 which I have. It's a lot quicker starting up, and it doesn't require an SD card in order to hold ALL of North America plus the 798,000+ KB large .jcv file. It all fits on the base unit with quite a bit of available room for growth. I got it from Amazon.com for $159 for the unit and lifetime maps.
I you don't want any bells and whistles, it's a nice box.

The basic units (3x, 4x, 5x)

The basic units (3x, 4x, 5x) supposedly don't support photoreal Junction Views. That's why the large file doesn't work in these units.

I wonder what the JV looks like

The specs for the 54LM say that JV is supported. If it isn't photoreal, I wonder what its JV looks like then. Anyone know?
