New NUVI 2555 LMT

I have a couple of questions about my new NUVI 2555

1. How do I get my favorites from my old Zumo 550???

2. Is there anyway to turn off automatic recalculations?

1. Copy the current.gpx file

1. Copy the current.gpx file from the GPX folder on the Zumo to your computer. Rename that copied file to temp.gpx. Copy temp.gpx to the GPX folder on the Nuvi. Reboot the 2555 and your Favorites will be there, but maybe found under Saved or Saved Places. Now delete the temp.gpx file from the 2555.

#1 You could just copy the .gpi file from the Zumo's POI folder to the Nuvi's POI folder. I think they will appear on the 2555 under Where To - Categories - Custom POIs.

2. That's one reason why the Zumo costs more than the the Nuvi. laugh out loud
