Garmin Express is showing a software update for Time Zone file 19.00 for my 3 devices that use the time zone map file. File size of new gmaptz.img file is 589 KB (603,136 bytes).

For PC:
Garmin began rolling out Garmin Express v4.4.0 for the PC today. If you would like to upgrade to the latest version, Check for Updates to Express on the Settings page within the Express application. This version includes the following changes:

• Minor improvements and bug fixes.

For Mac:

I'm using window 10 to load wave flies. I use SOX.exe wont load on POI. exe.

Has anyone changed the ICONS on the Up Ahead feature?
Say, if you want to choose a specific gas station like "shell" or a specific restaurant like "McDonalds"

In the up ahead feature:

* To search for a specific business or category, select a service, select Custom Search, and enter the name of the business or category.
Select Done.

ok, I'm not a rookie at this, but hopefully someone might have a suggestion...

I've had my alerts working before... I have the latest POI Loader... sox.exe (older version from 1/29/2008 {14-0-1}) is in the C:/Program Files (x86)/Garmin/POI Loader directory... all .wav files are meticulously checked and triple checked to match the file names of the .csv files...

This was actually told me by a neighbor... I'll post the entire story because it's that interesting.....

If you then scan the map, you'll see that Crystal Tree Drive has 2 connections to Ned's Cove Road... One below us after 4 switchbacks, and one above us, off of Chipmunk Circle.

I have a Garmin and was wondering how to have to POI's I have added automatically appear on the map as well as have them at the POI icon? Was wondering if base camp would do this or some other feature. Thanks in advance

I just got my 660 back from having a touch screen replaced and while there they updated the maps using a sd card Question is can I also put my custom poi's on the same card as I don't want them on the gps?

I bought a Garmin Nuvi 57 a few months ago and it was stolen. Can it be traced?

One of my GTM60 receiver stopped receiving traffic siganl. I contacted Garmin support. They suggested software updates etc. and finally suggested me to get the replacement and they suggested me to pay $85.55 CAD for the repair cost or suggested me to buy new one.

How do I ad the alert sounds to the poi file and what format should I use? Wav or MP3

I understand that one can make proximity alerts for individual points. With this format in a cvs file

Is it possible to make a proximity alarm on a track? As in.. I have a segment along a roadway with these coordinates -113.39781523200,53.45976785320, to 113.39890177200,53.46363705920.

How to load icons to poi files.

Having trouble with POI's with 3597.

Made sure I have sox file in POI loader but no sounds or alerts when loading POI's.

Do wav files automatically download when you download the POI file example Walmart.cvs

Never had a problem with the 1450 but you could view the files with the 3597 the gpi file will not open.

Why is it? When you turn on the logger to troubleshoot Bluetooth issues with the SmartLink app, the unit stays connected for hours and hours and won't disconnect? Then turn the logger off and the disconnects happen within a few minutes, then repeat over and over.

Bah, they may have helped the Bluetooth issues in 3597 software, but not in the 5.4 that the dezl has.

Just found an Easter E in the Folders on my 3597 Want check and see if your unit really is a Refurb or new? Connect it to your computer and open the folders. Select Garmin> Diagnostics> GarminOS.log. Double click or right click and choose Open the log file. At the top of the list is the oldest entry, at the bottom the newest entry.

I am trying to come up with some way to alert myself when in a school zone. I have made a POI but am a bit disappointed with the result. It seems my lat / long data source is set back so far from the road it requires a 1000 meter distance to register on my GPS

I've been using my 2599 for work and leave it on all day whether I'm using it to navigate or not. When my day is over, I could be one to two hours away from home and the GPS will tell me how many minutes from Home I am without my putting in a destination. It doesn't happen all the time, I don't see a particular setting for it, I was wondering if anyone else has stumbled across this?

Is anyone else experiencing difficulty with Garmin Smart Link connectivity with their DriveSmart series and their iPhone on iOS 10.1.1? Frequently, I find that the Garmin and iPhone won't connect automatically (for traffic, weather, parking, etc.) and you have to fight with it by force closing the app, turning Bluetooth off/on on the iPhone, turning Bluetooth off/on on the Garmin, etc.
