Map update 2018.20 is now available.

my 465t nuvi will not connect to my computer. my 760 works fine. anyone with any ideas.

I have a 3597LM and indicates a GTM60 Cable but it does not work.I had to get a GTM35 and it works fine.Any thoughts?

I purchased Europe maps about a year ago and have been using them in nuvi 250w with no problems.
I bought nuvi 2589lmt this year and when I inserted sd card into the unit, I get the message " file is corrupted".

Any ideas?

does the voice command for the NuviCam and 2598 have voice learning? My Goss don't understand a thing I say. I see others make fun of this. Now I know what they are talking about! (But my garmin doesnt)

I noticed that the Garmin webpage still lists the Garmin GTM 35 With Lifetime Traffic. Wasn't traffic via FM RDS discontinued?

Hi all:
I have both a nuvi 680 and a nuvi 3590. On the last map update, the full North America (NA) map was too large for my 3590, so I got a 16gb microsd card & installed it. Garmin Express (GE) was then happy to load the full map.

Just found out that you could rename the map file names to any name you want without impacting functions.

This was tested on Garmin DriveLuxe 51 but it might work on other models.

Just returned from a trip to Lynchburg, VA and the waypoints I had plotted using Basecamp were totally inaccurate. Hotel said that they also get many complaints from customers regarding Garmin GPS relating to their hotel.

The same happened to other waypoints plotted to Myrtle Beach, SC on same trip.

Anyone know what is going on?

am i the only one that get false alerts because sometimes when driving in town the alert say speed cams but when i look around i dont see any.

A few days ago I check my 1450 Gps for any update and it show me 3 updates.1 was for time change,one an XML update and the other one was for Traffic update. I have a lifetime Traffic on my Gps

I have a nuvi2555LMT I have a wav file installed with a POI I am trying to change the file. However it ends up playing both files. I tried uninstalling all with poi loader. then reinstall with wav I want however it still plays both. Hope someone can help me out on getting the file out I do not want

Poor old Limping 660.... On way home from GSP Airport yesterday, and 660 froze... Pulled power, waited 15 sec, plugged in, and NOTHING!!!
Finally, disconnected the Charger, and went into USB port of car and IT LIVES!!!

When I got home, tried charger again.... Now OK....

Poor old 660!!! Goes on strike now and again, but refuses to die!!!

I've installed poi's before with no problem. I have a sim card installed to hold the Poi's. When I look at the card on the computer they are all there. But when I run the Dezl i can't find the custom POI's like it used to. I wonder if the last Garmin update change some thing or not. I used Garmins POI loader.

Well I BRICKED two of these. I used POI loader and some CSV files. Downloaded those from low clearances . Then talking to the garmin rep he suggested this website. So I am a bit tech savvy and can't believe it bricked two devices. I used poi loader to read the csv and load then onto the device. Once this was done I was in a death loop the the garmin logo and loading maps.

I just updated my 3490 the other day to 2018.10. When connected to the PC, it said that there was like 7.2GB used and approx. 66.3MB left. I'm wondering if this is the last update that will completely fit in the internal memory. I have yet to put in a microSD card. I do recall firmware version 8.3 indicating and update to handle larger map sets so maybe they are more compressed? I don't know.

1450 acts like it has a USB connection over and over will come up on loading maps once in a while then go back into system mode.

I wanted to do a hard reset but it just will not go into reset mode no mater how long I hold my thumb in the corner (any corner) on power up.

Any ideas how to force a hard reset?

Sorry if this has been discussed, but most searches of "slow" seem to pertain to slow presentation of route, or slow zooming, etc.

I have 6 Garmin products (an old Steet Pilot I keep because I can hear it in noisy diesel trucks) and 4 Nuvis, and the NEWER ones (1300, 1490, and 3790) all seem to have gotten "lazy" with regard to taking inputs from the keyboard.

I was looking to update the maps for my 1350 and noticed the most recent maps (2018.10) is 2.8GB.
The original 1350 map is 1.1GB, and after as much file trimming as I can do on the unit, there's still only around 1.6GB free (without original map). I didn't want to resort to mSD card, but guess that's my only choice for using the current map.

My old wall charger is not charging my DriveSmart60 GPS. What kind or type of wall charger do any one recommend?
