Download POI's in various GPS formats i.e VW RNS 510

I'll put this into the Garmin thread since I consider it my "home" forum.
This a link to the "GPS DATA TEAM" website. From this site you can download POI's for the particular format your vehicles built in GPS requires. They permit non-members to download from their website.
My VW RNS-510 for example requires any POI's with a "filename.DB3" to install into the RNS-510.
There are several different formats for download from what I could see. Sorry I cannot give you any instructions, you'll have to muddle on through on your own. I just found this website myself !!!

I should also add that my built-in GPS can use CD,DVD and SD cards for installing.
