Has been uploaded onto their servers meaning it should be released for download within the next 2 weeks or so.

You and me both, but if someone doesnt have mapsource and would like to take it for a spin follow these directions for a free full version.

Download Training Center and install.
Click Here

Then download Download MapSource and install.

Click Here

Now you get the last release of mapsource which is 10/25/10 but it works :).

FYI, I can verify that it will install on Windows XP and Windows 7. I don't have Windows 8 to verify, sry.

If you have Mapsource on your computer it will be updated with new maps automatically if your select the option to install the map update "on the device AND your computer"

Yes, I have W8 and it works.
Now you get the last release of mapsource which is 10/25/10 but it works smile.

server problems?

I was on the Garmin web site yesterday and it was real buggy. I had to call for help on a problem I've had for months on not being able to install the Express Updater. In the course of the conversation with the higher level tech he said that they were having problems with their servers and they were "working on it".

I wonder if that is slowing down the release.

Plus this post helps us move on to page 5. smile

update ?

when ever I start garmin express it wants to update me to 2013,40 which I already have installed and is working fine! it also wants me to update my firmware for gtm traffic receiver, strange I don't have traffic on my 1450LM. do I trust Garmin express to update and keep my gps running right ? not until they remove a few more bugs, for now I will just use web update, I just tried to update map to 2014 and I guess there not releasing it as of this moment.

I just ordered two Garmin Nuvi nuMaps Lifetime North America Maps on cards. The Estimated Delivery: Sat. May. 18 - Mon. May. 20, so I am almost ready!

Of the 3 LTM garmins we have there is an update for the nuvi 765 that I noticed few days ago.
I am going to update and will advise on the map update number.
