Garmin Zumo XT Additional Maps On Micro SD Card

I have a Garmin Zumo XT and a 32 GB micro SD card installed in it for additional maps. The memory card has 10.7 GB free out of 29.7 GB. I have added several Open Map Chest maps and several BBBike maps.
What is interesting is when I add additional maps what are working, they show up on Garmin Base Camp and in the Garmin folder when it is connected to my Windows 11 computer, but the Garmin Zumo XT itself will not show them as available to use.
I am wondering if there is a limit to how many maps the Garmin Zumo XT can use despite having 10.7 GB free on the memory card?

Without really knowing I'd guess that you can only have one map capable of routing running at a time. I can imagine conflicts with more than one.
IIRC topo maps don't provide routing so (maybe) one could display at the same time as a road map.
