Glad to hear about a good experience at Saltgrass
I tried Saltgrass for the first time a few weeks ago during a business trip to San Antonio, and will definitely go back!

-Dave
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! For the record, I have no financial interest in Saltgrass--I just happen to love their ribeyes. A couple of other things I've discovered about them:

You can buy a bottle of their seasoning to take home--a big one--for only about $5. A real bargin by any seasoning standards, and even better since it's their "secret" spices. When I make steak at home, I always try to replicate it with the bit of melted butter on top as well.

When I went to the Saltgrass in CO Springs, CO, I noticed that they didn't have the 16 oz ribeye on the menu and I mentioned it to the server. She said that they didn't sell enough of them to put on the menu but if people asked, that they would be happy to cut to size, which they did for me. [uh, of course they wouldn't sell many 16 oz'ers if they didn't show it on the menu?]

Again, for anyone who hasn't ever gone to one, be aware that Saltgrass is like a Lone Star or Texas Roadhouse type outfit. Not a Ruth's Chris, Fleming's, or Morton's. You get steak--not atmosphere!

Roadfood.com sells its "Roadfood GPS Support - POI"

Roadfood.com sells its "Roadfood GPS Support - POI" for $20 per year. It is not clear how they choose the listed restruants. There are 97 restruants listed for California, including The Cottage in La Jolla, CA with its $9 Hamburger. The Cottage has a 100% Approval Rating after 10 votes. There are plenty of $9 Hamburger restruants in California that have more than ten people who've eaten there and rated the place. There doesn't seem to be a motivation to create a list of restaurants from the Road Food Web site.

It sounds like you are looking for a turn-by-turn POI. (Does anyone know how to do this?) Even assuning that this could be done, it would seem difficult to do. There are many Hilton Head Island bike paths (google it).

A simple Family Bike Ride (6.82 mi.) path is at http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-states/sc/hilton-head-i... To code this, I think you would need the Geo coordinates at each intersection of a turn point. I can't think of any easy way to get that info. You can get that info by using Google Maps' "what's here" feature, but that means clicking on each turn point intersection, copying the geo coordinates, and pasting them into a file. Then you would have to code in a command to go from point 1 to point 2, which I don't know how to do (or even if it is possible).

I would be willing to take a crack at it if someone else can provide coding instructions or lay out an information compiling technique that is much easier than the one I described.

Now, I would be happy to code a Hilton Head points of interest POI. The book Insiders' Guide to Savannah and Hilton Head at http://tinyurl.com/yawpwar has some locations, but it does not provide complete addresses. If you provide the Hilton Head POI names and addresses, I'll put them into a POI file for you.
