Ticket cameras

While commuting to work at 4:00 am, sometimes I have my Nuvi 660 connected and noticed that sometimes that approaching an intersection with a camera would sometimes set off the camera alert, sometimes not. My question is if anyone knows if ticket cameras are capable of taking picutres at night.

I had to spend 8 hours in traffic school few months ago because of the camera in Laguna woods, CA. NOT AGAIN .. Thanks so much for the file. It was worth $5.00. highly recommended to everyone. I have Nuvi 200W, wished somehow I could add voice and icon, but don't know how. If anyone can give me some input would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed that for some reason the Alert proximity alarm sometimes doesn't alert until I am on the intersection?

Is that something I can fix?

Is there a way to have it alert only going one direction at the intersection and not the other?

ie - the speed/red light camera only points North and there isn't one pointing for southbound traffic.

hey guys i was in halifax last week and finally saw the red light or speed cam working
the top bar comes red speed camera next to it there was 7kps what is that and how do we stop it from buzzing or even disable it?cause man i can get annoying!lol

I have sent Miss POI a list of the cameras in Garland, Texas. Look for them in the next update (assuming they are not already there). She is so quick, they probably are, though, hehehehe.

Fort Worth drivers who like to play beat-the-red-light better start using their brakes on yellow. Starting November 26th, drivers who run red lights in certain areas will get a No-No notice in the mail. Cameras are going up at seven intersections. The city said violators will receive warnings through December. Starting January 1, 2008, the tickets will be for real.

Sitting and waiting my turn to go straight, two cars made legal (green arrow) left turns in front of me. The red light camera took pics of both while they were in the intersection. It was nearly dark and the super bright flash accompanying the snapshot of the first car was directly in the eyes of the driver in the second. Seems like a very dangerous situation to me.

just got back from a trip to my 50th highschool class reunion in st louis. it has been many yrs since i spent any time in the town. i would have been lost if it had not been for my c530 and the red light cam worked great. i live in tulsa now and we just got paved streets so we have no need for red light cams lol. so come on down to tulsa but leave ur red light chip at home.

I would like to start a page that will help red light camera location contributors distinguish between a red light camera and a traffic monitoring camera.

As this technology gets better it is harder to tell what the real red light cameras look like.
