While commuting to work at 4:00 am, sometimes I have my Nuvi 660 connected and noticed that sometimes that approaching an intersection with a camera would sometimes set off the camera alert, sometimes not. My question is if anyone knows if ticket cameras are capable of taking picutres at night.

Sure...They are designed for 24x7 use. A few months ago, there was a news story in one of the major media about a family living in a high rise condo that was being "disturbed" by the constant, bright flashes from the red light cameras during the evening and coming through their balcony causing them not to sleep and use the balcony at night. The city told them they were going to try to realign the light.

In New York City, they work around the clock and I can prove it. The ticket I got was at night.
