Factory slowness 8/30/2020 (internet routing issues)
In case others are seeing this on their end, I'm having a very slow connection/response with the POI Factory site this morning but not with other sites.
If others see this too, it may be maintenance to the site, server issues on its end, or something else. I suppose it also could be ISP or DNS issues on my end.

Things to Do After The Shutdown
50 Things to Do After The Shutdown
1) Portray Blanche Dubois in a stage version of A Streetcar Named Desire.
2) Affix postage to a live duck and try to mail it to Pie Town New Mexico. It only counts if the stamps are canceled.
3) Dance the Flamenco with George Takei.
4) Go to the Circus. Share a firm handshake with the sideshow’s glass eater.

Getting Geocodes in Remote Areas
We are doing a mapping project in a remote area with no street addresses. Does anyone know how we can get the latitude and longitude coordinates of a specific location where we are standing? Thanks!!!

Do you take surveys for a premium?
They have dried up, but it used to be car cos. offered $50-$100 for test drives. So I would do them. Ever so often, a salesperson would say I can fill it out for you, you don't need to drive.

SiriusXM versus INRIX
In 2008 I purchased a Kenwood-Garmin DNX8120 with most of the options. Actually the only option left out was the ability to watch live TV and this is because it was limited to analog TV and of course you could only watch when you weren't moving. Come to present time where I have purchased a DNX997XR.

Covid 19 Shutdowns
I have noticed that while New York State and NYC have been shutdown because of the dangerous covid, the number of speed cameras, red light cameras and 5G antennas have increased significantly. Are camera and antenna installers immune to Covid?
Has this happened in other states and cities?

does it bother you to purchase something that was already returned?
I only noticed this within the last few months.
Flash forward to this week.
The last five items I ordered online, were delivered, with factory seals broken, and one item not even in original packaging. These were purchased from the world's richest man's store.
I go to their policy, and it is within the bounds of their policy.

was cleaning the attic
And of course found all kinds of old stuff. Like the cancelled check I wrote as the deposit on this house. Only $1,000?
and I found the first and only red light camera ticket I ever got, dated 11/29/02, in DC. To be honest, at the time? I never knew such things existed. Pretty sure they were 35mm cameras back then? And the pics are barely discernible.

MAGNAV: The Military's GPS Failover Plan
OK, they're not quite describing it as going back to the compass and sextant, and there's still room for a lot of fine tuning, but the Earth's magnetic field is key to how guidance systems are being developed to overcome the vulnerabilities of America's GPS infrastructure if ever targeted for jamming, spoofing, or outright destruction by an enemy.
