Windows 10 2004 Update Seems To Have Many Bugs

The update is sitting there ready to be downloaded on my PCs, but I'm not doing it after reading this:

finally sold an item on eBay

Here it is 2020, and I sold my first item on eBay.

Is it possible to make a few extra dollars by getting rid of things?!

I can see it's tough because eBay takes 10% and PayPal takes I think it's 2.9% plus 30 cents.

I had buyer pay shipping, and even that is a loss, despite having a discount of 20% on ground and 40% on surcharges.

Why?

Quote:

Memorial Day celebrations across the U.S. will look a bit different this year, with most picnics, parades, and services canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. That's why CBS News "On the Road" correspondent Steve Hartman is teaming up with retired Air Force bugler Jari Villanueva to keep the spirit of the holiday alive.

Zoom

Since the start of the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak, how many of us have begun to use Zoom or other "meeting" software?

If so, for business or pleasure?

Computer, tablet, smartphone?

Have you hosted a meeting or just participated?

Do you use your camera for live video or substitute a static image or just your name?

If using a webcam, do you use a custom background, static or live?

Is Anybody Here Using T-Mobile For Their Home Internet?

As posted above, I am wondering if anybody here is using T-Mobile for their home internet. I have always been concerned that if I did that, T-Mobile would throttle me after so much data was used. However, I was reading a post earlier that said they don't throttle it.

Expert advise needed (Using Bluetooth headset w/ GPS)

hello, I'm hoping that I can hook up a GPS that can use a Bluetooth headset for talking to the GPS or make a call through it with my phone. I see that the Drive Smart line (I have 3 Nuvi's) allows making calls but I haven't seen that a headset can be used.
Any good advise?

Jim

New update of Google Earth

I just noticed that Google Earth was updated on my laptop today at about 5 p.m. EDT. No heads-up, just got downloaded. The new version is 7.3.3.7699 (I don't know what the old version was). With absolutely no scientific research on my part, my only observation is that it seems quicker. From double click on its icon, it's up and ready in three seconds.

All Terrain Vehicle/Off Highway Vehicle Trail Maps

Now that will be using my Garmin Nuvi 500 on my GPS, it is time to look around for some suitable maps to download. Certainly, I can Google it and get lots of information, but I am looking for some guidance from my fellow members here.

I am most interested in ATV/OHV trail maps. Garmin City Navigator is great for highways, roads and streets, but most ATV/OHV trails don't show up on CN.

PDF now available

This is in another thread I created, but I thought some may have missed the posting:

I used MS Word to create a PDF file of the lengthy instructions and Jonathan figured out to create a download link to the file.

You can now click on the link at the top of the page and once the PDF appears, right click on the page and select "Print" in the dropdown. Or you can do a "Save as".

Thanks for all of your contributions, Charlesd45!

Recommending Contributor of the Week?

This isn't really about a contributor of the week, actually. It's contribution in general. First I would like to acknowledge the POI Factory and it's contributors just for being here, for being who you are, and for sharing. Whether it's a little or a lot it all helps someone out.

Banking: unexpected customer service, and lack thereof

Two different outcomes.

Scenario 1, I know that the prime rate dropped in March, significantly. I do not have a mortgage on our house, but I have a variable rate heloc. So it was April 28, and I see my rate is still 4% (prime minus 0.75% is the rate). It should be 2.5%, as the last change was 3/18.
