just to know that i can improve the service i get from my tom tom one , its cool. now my problem is i cant seem to save the items i just downloaded from this site. i wish someone would help me with tips on how to save them up on to my tom tom......then i would be ready to ride....

I purchased a Nuvi 670 end of June 2007.

E-Mailed Garmin 6 days ago about upgrade, to date no reply.

Phoned Garmin Europe (I live in the UK) and was told under no circumstances are Garmin giving free upgrades. I would have to pay and the cost would be approx £50 with a two week wait.

This is what most kids scream from the back seat. What do POI Factory children say if they want to know if we are there. "I wonder when we will arrive at our final destination" popped out of our six year old daughters mouth the other day. I have to say it gave me quite a giggle. Never thought that my little Garmin would be changing the language of my children.

Hey, I haven't checked the poi files for this but, we can have POIs for hunting for treasure. If you go to www.travelchannel.com and then look for the show: "Best Places to find Cash and Treasures" and then click on treasure hunt toolkits. You will find the long. and lat. that you can put in your GPS.

I own a Nuvi 350 and for the first time, I really put my GPS to use. I flew to Buffalo airport and was planning to drive up north towards Niagara Falls and Toronto in Canada.

How do I find Dorbrook park directions in colts neck New Jersey i dont know how to put the address in everytime i do it my gps cant find the address

One of my collegues mentioned availability of a voice activated command unit (similar features to one featured for the Acura) for under $1000, featured on a recent television program. Does anyone have any information on this unit? I have not been able to locate it.

Trawling through the www.garmap.com forum I came across this link to an application which allows one to get the Nokia 9300 (&9500) to share/ transfer it's contacts with the Nuvi series.

I know that I can't make any turn across 2 pairs of double solid lines (they are treated like a virtual wall).

Is it legal to u-turn or left-turn across double solid lines (1 pair) in California?

Just downloaded my first POI files into my 660 GPS. Thanks to all of you in this form, it went very well. You all are a great group of people to take time helping new members with what must seem, the same questions over and over. Thanks again, your class people.

Hi: I own a garmin c330. I mistakingly added a poi twice on my unit. I am having trouble deleting one of the poi's. Can anyone offer some help.

I noticed that when I add some POI to my Favorites and I change the symbol from the default black square to something else (i.e. House icon/symbol), that they change back to the black square after the unit has been powered back on. Not all of them changes. It appears to be a random thing.

As the Nuvi 670 doesn't leave a heck of a lot of space to put a personal sticker or anything on it I came up with a solution for put a 'If found please return' label on it.

In any graphic editor program create a .jpeg with the text:
