Welcome y'all. Please take the time to peruse the FAQ section, and familiarize yourself with the Search functions of the forum...you'll find we've probably discussed a lot of things you might have questions about previously.

wow at 6 weeks I feel Old
That is great to hear. More members just means more info, and more strength. I have looked there are a bunch of GPS forums;. But most are all one person, and not active at all. I am sure with the GPS users numbers going up Garmin and Navtec may have to listen to us and fix all the Old errors on the maps.

I was glad to find this site because the documentation that comes with the c330 (Wal Mart $128) is pretty bad. I have previously used mapping software with a gps receiver and marine gps receivers and was getting a little frustrated trying to learn to use a road gps unit. They really don't work the same. Anyway, this site has provided a lot of information and now I'm getting it. Thanks.
New proud Nuvi 660 owner...
This site has been awesome. I am up and running and almost feel like I know what I am doing. I have loaded many POI's and have learned some tricks along the way. Thanks all. I am addicted,

You can go to the Garmin site and download the owners manual. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/store/manual.jsp?product=010-004...
My gps came only with the brief startup manual.I downloaded the owners manual to my computer for easy access to information.

New Garmin Nuvi 650 Owner
Hi all. Yes, I am one of the Black Friday new members. I ordered Garmin Nuvi 650 on Costo.com on Nov 19th (well, not quite Black Friday). I just received the unit yesterday.
I was able to install Custom POIs from POI Factory. In fact, I already installed over 30 POI lists. Excellent website for POI sources and GPS discussion forum. Thank you Miss POI and contributers.
Now I get to play with and enjoy my new GPS. This is my 1st GPS, by the way.
don't worry, be happy!

Welcome to the gang! ... and don't worry about having a single gps unit right now, any 1000 miles trip begins with a small step forward... and you just made it!

800?
That is great! This is the best site on the web for GPSrs. Nowhere else can you find so many POI's for free and a great and helpful group of folks from around the world.
I just received two Nuvi 650's from Costco as gifts for my two sons. They were $300 a piece and delivered to my door. I know my "kids" (30 and 33 years old) will be new members when they get these units for Christmas.
Welcome aboard to all new members.
