WHAT'S THE EST UNIT OUT THERE TODAY?
Just wanted to find out what is the best gps unit on the market... I have c580 but looks like it's time to upgrade.. it started to lose sattelites.. I want something with FREE MAPS updates and of course so I could use my pois on it.. also something preferabely with blue tooth and expandable slot.

Wife jealous of GPS
She seems to believe that I am trying to replace her with the GPS. She said that she is perfectly capable to provide the directions I need.
Does anyone else have a spouse or significant other at odds with your GPS?

Mapquest or Google
Have been using the direct download from Google and Mapquest to my Gps.My son is down visting from Florida so I have been inporting some new spots to my favorites.Not sure if what I have discovered is due to the model Garmin I have or the difference between the sites.Maybe someone can try on another model and see if they duplicate it.I put in Motor World located 700 Birdneck Rd Virginia Beach VA.R

Google Map And Home Address???
I know this has been posted in the past, but it is strange that Google Maps, actually Yahoo maps also, has moved my house up the road. It was OK for the last several days,,,any idea for what's happening? It ain't the GPS's fault.

downloading from Google maps
I am having a problem downloading from Google Maps to my Garmin Nuvi 760. Google deoesn't seem to recognize my 760 and only wants me to send the map as an email. I don't think the problem is my USB cable because it works with everything else. Has anybody else had a problem like this?

Do Not Plug Your iPhone into iTunes
The upgrade to 2.0 is mandatory and Apples activation servers have been brought to their knees. Apple says it could be all day. They had to know they had at least 4 million existing phones to upgrade along with the rollout of the 3G phone and should have been better prepared, maybe a staggered rollout either allowed the old phones to update a few days before or after the 3G intro.

Google Earth
Just a curious question. Is there anywhere a person can go to attempt to get your town to show up better in satellite view? I can see better detail in a lot of smaller areas around us (Dubuque, IA) than I can here. I realize this is probably complicated but I'd sure like to request better resolution if there was a place to request it.

Trip to Oregon/Idaho/Utah (POIs?)
I'm just packing for my 10 day road trip through Northern Utah, Idaho (East to West), and Oregon (East to West along the North, then to SouthCentral, then East back to Idaho through to Northern Utah again).
This will be my FIRST GPS Road trip ever!
