Just in case anybody needs another one. I have one of these in my Nuvi, another in my pda, and a third in my Etrex Venture. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of them for $7.99

"Turn left at" Once in a while I get this instruction, when I know it is going to be a right turn. In fact today only a right turn would have been possible, unless I were coming the other way. Jill had directed me this far, so my direction was known. This happens once in a while.

Does anyone have a clue about this?

Has anyone tried mad maps? I looked at the offerings and it is pretty limited. I was just wondering if anyone has bought and actually tried the product.

I just noticed that Costco has the Nuvi 650 back in stock for $299. I was waiting for this deal but ended up going with the 750 from Amazon.

I purchased a new Garmin StreetPilot 7200 a few short months ago and after loading the drivers and conecting it to my computer via USB it and the SD card were both recognized.

Someone please tell me how to mute the BEEP at each "key press" on my Nuvi. When adding an address at work, it sounds like I'm playing Pong. Remember Pong?

I suppose I could try to remember to mute all, then unmute after.

Does anyone know how to set your announcements to only sound off once. I mean it gets crazy listening to them over and over

I have been using a 60csx for sometime now and cant think of a better unit to have as a hand held GPS but when it comes to in car navigation it just is to small and hard to see while driving.

I have a blank SD-Card (no info loaded onto it, yet) to go with my Nuvi-660. I see the slot in the Nuvi to receive the SD-Card, but my computer has no such slot that I've seen. What am I supposed to do here???

1) How do I load stuff (POI's, Updates, or what-ever I need) onto an SD-Card, for use in the Nuvi?

Does anyone know if there is a way to determine what city you are in? I have a nuvi 760. I've tried the "Where Am I" and it does not. If I tap the screen while in 3D mode I get a flat map which shows sometimes a dot and city name, but doesn't have city boundaries and is not clear when driving.

Garmin just came out with the 2.6 firmware for the 7xx. It has quickfix II. What exactly does quickfix II do?

Since you can't "see" the c330 from your computer, how do you know how much storage space is available on the unit?

Since it will only store POI's there as opposed to its SD card, space is really important.

Would anyone confirm, once your poi's have been downloaded onto your unit (nu vi 750),for them to show up on your view map screen,would you have to select it from your "Point of Interest" file on your unit.

Today's (Jan 30, 08) gold box deal at Amazon is the Nuvi 660 for $350.

Being that I paid $370 for my 350 last year, I am thinking that is a pretty good deal. For a few more hours EST.

Who do I notify if I find a road that my Garmin does not recognize?
My GPS keeps trying to get me to go to work another way. There is only one way in. The road that's not on the GPS.

I've tried loading some POI's into my Garmin GVN-53. When insert the SD card into the Black Box it asked me if I want to load new POI's. I say "yes" and it seems to load the POI's normally. The POI's are even listed in the POI data base of the Garmin but when I try to use one of the POI's in the "Go To" list it causes the GVN-53 to reboot and start from the begining.
