I was playing with my GPS today and found out that if you tap on your vehicle, while on map screen, it will give your current position and elevation. Also gives you the option to save location to favorites.
This may be usefull if at a sporting event, amusement park, etc. and want to save where you parked. Then you could use GPS to find your car. It may have other uses as well.
This feature may work on other units too.

That would have come handy in my younger years, while living in Philadelphia in a row home, that feature was needed to find my house after a night out on the town.
My guess is that sooner or later as I age will need that when walking the neighborhood here in Florida.

My drunk neighbor could have used a GPS the other night. He tried 3 times to get into my house. Funny as all heck. Good thing it wasn't later in the evening. He might have been introduced to my shotgun.
