Bulk removal of favourites listings

while learning my way around my new nuvi 250, I have inadvertently added a whole list of favourites that I don't require. How can I remove them in bulk.

Deleting Favorites
I decided to try to remove some duplicates in my favorites. End result for me was to backup my favorites in MapSource, where I also deleted the duplicates and reset the Nuvi to erase all data. Erasing all data left my custom poi's in tact along with my extra vehicles. Importing my favorites back to the Nuvi was a synch.
