I recently purchased a RV 660LMT as an aid to my RV travels. My plan is/was to use it in my tow vehicle as a car when not in the RV mode. However my tow vehicle, a 4x4 F150, also sees duty off road and often on unmaped Forrest service roads. When exploring in the past, I have used my Zumo 660LM in track mode, saving the track at days end.

I currently am running a Nuvi 1490 but it beginning to have some issues so I am looking to upgrade. I do a lot of custom routes in Mapsource and Basecamp and I can easily upload any of them to my 1490 and run them without any problems. I tried a 25 series Nuvi sometime back but returned it when I found it didn't handle the route the way the 1490 did.

I have owned both Garmin GPSs and Bombardier/Can Am ATVs for years, but I have never mounted a GPS on my ATV. I was at a Can Am dealer yesterday and a salesman showed me the Garmin Montana 680T GPS.

He also did mention that the Ski Doo snowmobile folks have the Garmin Zumo 590 GPS.

Is there an easy way to enter your return trip on a RV760? Many times I use coordinates in planning my trip and when ready to return home I would like to not have to re-enter them......Am I missing an easy solution?

Are there new updater for Garmin software like POI loader that work with the new OS that requires 64 bit software? Nothing works on my MacBook Air with 10.13. I checked Google and did not find anything

A friend is interested in a Garmin GPS with dashcam.
Does anyone have experience with one?
Is there more than one model?
What price range are we looking at?

I have had my 1450 for a number of years it's done me well gave it to my son so I got another one from a auction site $21 free shipping bother are updated but I noticed when I plug the second one in to my PC it connects in a couple of seconds and the one I have had for awhile takes a minute or two anyone have thought why not a huge deal just wondering Mike

Well, sooner or later, somebody would have started this thread. In both 2016 & 2017 the new maps were released on May 18, so I'm guessing the new Garmin map release will be about three weeks away.

I'm not sure what the changes are for this version as Garmin's release notes are still at 6.3. I did install GE 6.4.0.0 under Windows 10 and it works fine with all of my Garmin devices.

I moved all my favorites to an sd then was gonna do a reset, but I noticed that my custom poi icon was still there even after removing the sd card and it won't get off, I even click it and all the files are still there except the new ones and when I insert the sd the new files don't show up only whats on the poi icon, how do I take that icon off and start new, can anyone help me here??

Occasionally MapSource v6.16.3 will crash when calculating a route. Primarily happens when a way point is added to an existing route. The error reads FATALDIALOG REF.
Anybody else experience this and have found a solution?

I'm still using the .10 maps on my 2 2689LMT's and 660 (SD Card).

I Know they came out with .11 maps... but there was various comments about it... so I left .10 installed....

Now that things have calmed down... Did Garmin Ever indicate why .11 was released, or offer a suggestion that those with .10 should upgrade, or ___________???

I have added a 32G card to my unit.... I'm trying to test to see if it works and dowloaded all the language file until it ran out of room... to see if it would go to the sd card but it doesn't.

Is 32G too big for the unit?
I see it on my mackbook but Garmin express does not use it .

Received my email today this morning.

My Garmin Drive Smart 61 NA LMT-S has restarted a few times now while a route is active (bluetooth and WiFi were off). Anyone else experiencing this?

Hey guys. I recently upgraded from my Garmin Nüvi 40lm to a Garmin Driveluxe 50LMTHD, as I found one used on eBay for $80. I saw that the newer 51 LMT-S model has since been released, and it has a few extra features like built-in WiFi and TripAdvisor data (otherwise, the two devices are almost identical).

I downloaded a bunch of POI's to my GPS over the weekend (127,000+ to be exact). Everything went fine with the exception of two icons. I created a 48 BMP for Key Bank and I used the Auto Repair icon that is found in the icon section of this forum. However, neither one of these would load on the GPS.

I'm an original 2019.10 user on both our 2689LMT's....

I'm waiting to hear more on the .11 update.....

Anyway, today Updated POI's on both..... but not .11 map or time file
