NA 2019.20 large JCV File

...still need it for my 1390T.

I downloaded JCV file D3191260.JCV for my 3790 Nuvi which is.... Meh!!. The file I want is the large photo-realistic JCV file that will probably be D3060270A.JCV (The last large 2019.10 JCV file was D3060260A/B.JCV).

Yes, alandb confirms this in the 2019.2 thread:

Large JCV.

The 2019.20 full screen/full coverage "large" JCV file for the nuvi 7x5 and zumo 6xx is D3060270A.jcv, 828 MB (869,042,813 bytes)

Anyone want to upload pics he large JCV for us guys who still need it?

I am a Linux user and many distros encourage acquiring the .iso files using peer to peer (p2p) bittorrent files in order to save server band width. It works well.

These .iso files are usually 1-2GB; sometimes as much as 4GB. when a new version is released and many are participating, p2p can be faster than downloading the .iso itself.

Being a smaller group, we might want to schedule our p2p activity based on demand.

My 2797 doesn't like the large JCV.

Maybe as a compromise, Plunder could add this link (http://www.poi-factory.com/node/48569?page=0#comment-474033) to his opening post so a user can jump directly to tli's post containing the download information.

Thanks for the revised first post in the thread, plunder.

This makes the download link easier to find for all who still use the file (including me with my old nuvi 855).

It also should substantially reduce the number of new posts from folks who want the file but only visit The Factory once every week or two. As has happened in the past, rather than their reading through the entire thread before posting a reply, they read the original and 1-2 replies, then post a 'Is it available yet?' reply.

This also keeps the 2019.20 Large JCV file discussion in one thread rather than having a first "It's not available yet" thread, then a "Here it is" thread. Well done. Maybe we can do this for future map update and Large JCV file available threads of a similar nature. It's great that the software running The Factory allows for future edits of an original post even after replies are made. As we've all found, individual replies are only editable by the reply's author until someone later replies to it.

The file above is no longer available. There has got to be a better way.

I had expected to write back that it works for me, but...you're right, at least as of 9:45AM MST 28Jun18:

The file you are trying to download is no longer available.

-The file has been removed because of a ToS/AUP violation.
-Invalid URL - the link you are trying to access does not exist
-The file has been deleted by the user.

Let's hope it returns here or elsewhere soon. I don't know if this is the case, but in the past, some download sites shut down the Large JCV file for having too many download requests. On the chance that it's a URL issue, can someone confirm that this is the full link address:

Just update to 2019.2 and quickly download the 2019.2 JCV before it disappears.

There are two versions of the 2019.10 JVC file. First there was D3060260A.jvc that was later updated with a newer iteration, D3060260B.jcv. Why???? Why do you want the older JVC file?

A wise thought if the early disappearance of the 1st link will recur with the newer 2019.20 link.

Driver38, from recent experiences with the Large JCV file, when a new map comes out and the Large JCV is made available, the previous map version's Large JCV is deleted for downloads. Unless someone who has saved the 2019.10 Large JCV contacts you and offers it, you will likely not find it. But as Mel... states, now's the time to install both the 2019.20 map update and its Large JCV file.

I download the 2019.20 from the link provided and the JCV require a password..I enter the password and it give me a messages that the password is invalid ?

Just do a copy and paste of the PW and make sure that there is no extra space ahead and behind the PW. That way there is NO spelling error.

If you use WinRAR, place the downloaded file "D3060270A.rar" in the folder you want, right mouse click on the file and select "Extract Here".

Sadly, the file is now corrupt. Can someone re-upload the file, preferably on pirate bay or somewhere else where the risk of the file being corrupt is minimal?

I was able to successfully download the large JCV file from the 2nd link provided above. It worked about 6 hours ago.

I have not tested the file yet but the unrar file size is correct. The MD5 also match.

I just got around to downloading 2019.20 large jcv file (compressed version). I used WinZip to open...did not ask for password.

Not sure if I've done this correctly...how large should uncompressed file be ??

Thx for confirming file size...my uncompressed file size agrees with yours...869,042,813 bytes.

Download & uncompressing thru me for a loop as I didn't have to enter password and WinZip handled as (1) file...not (2) like times I've used WinRAR...if that makes any sense.

My old 1490lmt has been working fine running 2019.10...I didn't want to mess it up not having correct file download.
