any body know how to install new map in garmin drive 51 I bought from usa and it has only usa map I try to installed unlocked map but it shows wrong map .any body help me please.
I WANT TO INSTALLED CANADA MAP BECAUSE IT DO NOT HAVE CANADA MAP.

What map are you trying to install? You say it's an unlocked map? What do you mean by that?

What exactly are you trying to do?
You said it only has a USA map. Are you trying to install a European map? We need more info please.

That is the problem. Many Garmins sold in the USA only have the lower 48 states and that is all you'll ever get unless you purchase a separate LIFETIME MAP update for all of North America.
The Lifetime map update is not cheap !!!

Interesting, I don't recall ever seeing one that wasn't full North America.

It isn't just older vs. newer. The current Drive models:

offer the USA or USA+Canada for the basic Drive 51/61 while the ...Smart, ...Assist and ...Luxe offer the full North America maps.
It was similar with the nuvi line in that the Essential Series came with a smaller map or even being sold with two map options with the small mapped device being cheaper.
The full North America includes:
US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthelemy, and Jamaica

Humm, my Nuvi 2460 LMT had full North America, I used it to navigate to Niagara Falls Canada from Pennsylvania. Pretty sure I didn't have to buy anything extra.
My Nuvi 2689 also had full NA.
My current DriveSmart 61 LMT-S also has full NA.
I have two Zumo's, 450, 550, that I bought LMT for that are full NA.
When I go to add maps to the SD card on the Zumos, part of the full NA maps include some islands in the Florida area as well as French Guyana in South America for some reason. (I'll look at my saved Map Source file later for all it includes)
