I tried to use the bluetooth on my unit with my sprint phone. connects up great but evertime i get in the car it automatically pairs up and i stop this i want to be able to manually do it

I have been loading POI's on my 750. When do you need to worry about putting so many on it, that it affects the performance of the unit? So far I have 125,468.

how do you delete down loaded poi's on a nuvi 250w

I recently lost everything on my hard drive. I don't remember having any trouble seting POI Loader up the last time...But. I am tring to "select where to save Points of Interest to: I chose MapSource (advanced).

I know it's been said many times in the past, but I am now a believer. My 14-month old nuvi 660 stopped acquiring satellites a week ago. I upgraded the firmware, tried all the easy stuff, finally called Garmin. They had me do a hard reset, no change. They gave me an RMA, I immediately sent the 660 to them. I got a "newly overhauled" unit back yesterday. Runs great!

I have a Garmin 340c and want to put topo maps and new city navigator information on my sandisk card. I have tried a couple of times, but it only lets me put the city navigator street map on the sandisk card and I relized it was naming the topo and city maps the same file..Is there a way I can put both on my sandisk card? My card is 2GB

I want to seach for Freeway off ramp. Something like I-805 & Palm Ave in San Diego, CA. How would I accomplish it?

I have the2009 maps loaded into Mapsource.

Question 1 - When i go to transfer the new maps to the unit, it says there is not enough space on the unit??

Question 2 - Which file if any can i delete to make way for the new maps?

Question 3 - Can you delete the old map data, if so, whereis the file located?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a Vista HCX, When I create a route using my waypoints (e.g. home -> library -> bank -> home), and try to navigate the route using the "follow road" option, the unit keeps trying to send me to the closest section of the route instead of my next destination. For example, when I'm at the library, it tells me to go home instead of to the bank.

Can I set options so this does not happen?

How do I totally reset my Garmin nuvi 200 GPS to get rid of ALL custom POI's and even all the favorites Ive created?
Ive done the reset to default in on the device self, but it still keeps the info.

I want to basically start my nuvi from fresh
Any help?

I noticed that there's an audio alert before and after redlight & speed camera notification, but no audio after alert for school zone notification. I would like no audio after alert for the redlight & speed camera notification as well. Is that possible for these POI-Factory produced alerts? Thank you.

Hello, I am a newbie here. I purchased a new Garmin 255W seven days ago and I love using it so far. I want to thank Miss POI and others here for their custom POIs, BMP icons, MP3, etc.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to have my garmin nuvi 200 or 260 warn me audibly of going over 75 mph with out having to set a custom poi ?

How do you change the voice to a female british accent? I just received my Nuvi 750 from Costco in the mail.
