Different colors for screen display alerts

Hello, I am a newbie here. I purchased a new Garmin 255W seven days ago and I love using it so far. I want to thank Miss POI and others here for their custom POIs, BMP icons, MP3, etc.
The screen display for alerts is a black background with faint white letters, numbers and rectangular border. Is it possible for the letters, background and numbers to have different color like bright yellow?

not possible...
For this to be possible, it would need to be a unit configuration setting but no Garmin unit that I know of has this ability.
