Redlight & speed camera audible alerts

I noticed that there's an audio alert before and after redlight & speed camera notification, but no audio after alert for school zone notification. I would like no audio after alert for the redlight & speed camera notification as well. Is that possible for these POI-Factory produced alerts? Thank you.

The alert sound is played when there is a notification for redlight and school zone the same. What you may be experiencing is a second notification/sound after you come to a stop and then start up again. It would be the same in a school zone if you were to come to a stop.

the alert that you are hearing with the other files is because of the words "redlight" in the file name.

Although this has been discussed before, I don't believe we have a definite cause. My own belief (until you prove otherwise) is that with a POI located within an intersection is that there are two streets along which you will receive an alert. At the precise moment that you are going through the intersection, you are on BOTH streets. I believe you get an instantaneous alert because of that. It would be easy enough to test the theory; if you moved the POI to a point 150 ft before the intersection, only one alert would sound if I am correct.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
