There are a couple of pieces parts to getting the rest stops to display on the screen. One is to load the icon (a .BMP) with EXACTLY the same name as the CSV file. An alert sound can be added, and depending on your NUVI it may be an MP3 or a WAV with EXACTLY the same name. All these are put into a folder on your computer that is the input for the POI Loader. Then they will display just as the preloaded factory ones.

The Garmin has Reat areas in the POI's. Do both them and the custom POI's show up or does one override the other. Trying to get a handle on how they react together. Thanks Jim
Just run poiloader and
Just run poiloader and select remove all pois.Also when you run new files for installation using poiloader it will overwrite the existing files.
