I tried to use the bluetooth on my unit with my sprint phone. connects up great but evertime i get in the car it automatically pairs up and i stop this i want to be able to manually do it

You would need to disable the Bluetooth on the Zumo (or the phone) if you don't want it to pair automatically. And then just enable it when you want to pair them and they should pair automatically.
