Similar to a 2016 thread oddly located in the Rand McNally forum here, I found my 3597 would never go into any mode other than normal GPS operation, regardless whether plugged into one of my 2020-manufactured XPS 15's onboard USB connections or an attached dock which included additional USB 3 ports.

I have four Garmin GPSs. I plug them into my cigarette lighter and I notice all of them at one time or another go off for 20 seconds and then back on again. Since I experience the "on" and "off" with all of them I know the problem is not the GPS or the charger cable since one GPS is brand new and I use the cable that came with each GPS.

Large JCV file for 2021.30 CNNA map (831.5MB). The file is in the native format and needs no unzipping.

Just got a new HP laptop with win 10. Down loaded Garmin Express and it will not open. Tried uninstall, restart, reinstall several times and nothing seems to work.

Anyone else has this problem?

i might have a weird issue for the most part, but it is one none the less.
I googled a lot and tried a lot but cant find a solution for now.

Downloaded and installed 2021 map to my 2018 Honda CR-V Touring, actually, I downloaded it yesterday and installed it today.

I would like to install Basecamp on my D: drive since it has much more space than C: Uninstalled it and when I tried to reinstall no opinion appeared asking where to install. Any options to make this possible? Birdseye files take a lot of space and was hoping to put them in D: too.

I'm trying to import and make Custom POI ICONS. The ICON only. having NO JOY!! Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. Icons like "shell gas stations, marriott, esso. etc.....

Does anyone subscribe to Cyclops Safety Camera? If so, how does it compare to the typical RLC/Speed POIs?

So “rocket scientist” recently posted the question is it "Safe To Delete Old Express Installers". The thread is at http://www.poi-factory.com/node/50971. Deleting what was mentioned in that thread, and keeping just the lst two folder freed up a ton of space on my drive.

That got me to looking for other extraneous stuff left behind and it can amount to quite a bit of storage space.

For those that use Google Earth with BaseCamp you will know that for a while you have had to use older versions of Google Earth to enable the link from BaseCamp to work. These older versions will no longer provide street view as Google has withdrawn that link in earlier versions, see this announcement https://support.google.com/earth/thread/43329999 which states

I was just cleaning up old map files in the C:/ProgramData/garmin/coreservice/downloads folder, and noticed that I have a Garmin Express installer .exe file for every version of GE I've ever installed. Takes up more than a Gb of space. I assume it's safe to delete all those installers?

For some reason my LINK to the all the older versions doesn't work! Any help to the link would be greatly appreciated.

When will the next map update be out. Before Christmas, or has covid made the updaters stay at home

I have a new Garmin 700 OTR. I downloaded the Garmin uploader and transferred a POI file to that program. It took me 3 or 4 tries to get the program to recognize my GPS. It tried to transfer the file but I got a message saying the file could not be transferred. What am I doing wrong. When I plug the GPS into my dektop (windows7) it wants to open Garmin Express. But it would transfer the file.

I had my Honda in for service, and they loaned me a 2019 H-RV while the service was being done. It had a factory installed backup camera, and I was able to compare it with my BC-40.

My BC-40 is paired with my DriveSmart 65. I like this combination setup much better than the factory solution.
1. The view is much larger.
2. The screen is much brighter.

BaseCamp v4.7.3 is ready to download.
