Been waiting to see if anyone has figured it out,I am assuming that either Garmin is on the outs with Google or Google is on the outs with Garmin, There is no way to transfer address to the garmin from google maps or mapquest like there was, seems like it dissapeared when all the changes were made about 6 mths ago has anyone figured out how to do it other than using Basecamp which I dont like but

I am unable to customize POI sound alerts for my Garmin 2568LMT. I used POI editor 2.7.3 with SOX 14.4.2. I had a doubt with my WAV files so I used sample WAV files found on this site. WAF filename is the same that csv and bmp file (except extension).

The only sound I have is a "dong dong" sound while I expect my WAV file is played.

Do you have an idea of what's wrong?

Well, my wife's 765T died after almost six years of solid service. My 765T is still going strong. I have to replace the unit with a new one, and I don't have a clue about which Garmin to choose. We're not looking for a lot of bells and whistles. Don't need Bluetooth since that's already built into her car.

Doe anyone know how to delete multiple copies of scenic routes on my garmin 550. I have went to the poi loader and hit remove all pois, but everytime I reboot and go to extras, custom pois, the same 3 are still on the 550.

I purchased a 3597LMT a few months back. We are leaving for a big trip in few days so I check online and see they have released 2015.40.

When I plug in my 3597 and fire up garmin express it doesn't show the update......yet if I select the 3790 I used to have it does show the update for it. What gives?

This is a pretty newbie question, but if I load CSV and GPX duplicate files will I end up with duplicate files on my Nuvi? I wasn't sure if it would default to just one of them. For example there is a CSV and a GPX file of donut paradise. Will I end up with duplicate data if I install them both? Thanks, Louie.

I was just updating some POI files when Garmin Express showed me that Time Zone Map Update 16.01 was available. I had updated to 16.00 yesterday (Sunday) and had to change my GPS to Mass Storage Mode to be able to use POI Updater. After installing 16.01 everything works great again. I changed back to MTP Auto Detect and now the GPS correctly communicates with POI Updater.

Update 5/23/2015: Everything sold and has already been paid for using eBay. It sold for $187.50 + shipping in just 5 days so eBay comes thought again.

I have been using Garmin units for years and have been generally very pleased with their features and reliability.

I'll be going to Europe for all of July. I'd love to take my 3790 with a Europe map on an SD card.
Can the 3790 be charged via the mini USB port from an electric outlet using a mains to USB adapter?

I downloaded the poi loader from Garmin, and got the red light camera files from here. Upon connecting my gps to the computer, the poi loader program would not detect my gps unit when I told it to save the poi file to my gps. I then told it to save the file to my computer and it worked.

After running Garmin express software updates, POI Loader will not recognize my Garmin 2595

Curious if other users are also having BT Problems between iPhone 5s and Nuvi 2797. My iPhone is running 8.1.3. 2797 used to connect easily but now rarely connects inspite of my resetting both devices. Can't figure what's wrong or,what I am doing wrong.

I realize the Nuvi 2689LMT can be parried with the BC30 wireless camera. My question is this, since I already have a built in backup camera (very small screen) in my mini van, can I tap into this video feed instead of purchasing the BC30? I believe the BC30 transmits video feed wirelessly, is their a hardwire work around?

On my new 3597, I added the poi rest stops and saw double entries under CATEGORIES . Removed the poi but still have the double entries.

Has anyone looked into the Garmin Nuvicam LMTH? It is to be available in May 2015.

Based on prior years history shown here: http://forums.gpsreview.net/discussion/17527/redirect//p1 the new map update release should be imminent but, then again, the last update was about six weeks later than usual.

If I download a GPX file of geocaching locations, can I upload them to my Garmin Astro 220 and have them recognized?
