Garmin Customer Service

I just wanted to make a post about the excellent customer service I received from Garmin USA concerning a broken part for my handheld Garmin Colorado 400c. I've had the unit for a good seven years now and the rock and roller button finally gave out. I had heard some mixed results on getting a new part for this. However, one phone call to Garmin and they agreed to send two of the replacement parts free of charge. That way I have a backup in case the part fails again due to use and fatigue.
I must say all in all the customer service doesn't get any better than that and I was very happy my trusty hand held unit that has gotten me through numerous kayak, canoe, and hiking trips here in Florida and the Everglades is back in action and ready to assist me once again.
This unit has also proven invaluable a number of times when boat/marine units have failed for various reasons as will happen in saltwater conditions.
Thanks.
Thanks for your post SnookMook. We hear lots of complaints about Garmin, so it is always nice to hear a success story.
