Garmin is releasing two new Zumo models: 595LM and 395LM. It will be interesting to see if this has any affect on the existing Zumo models' pricing.

When I load custom POI files like Walmart locations and the announcement that goes with the file, my RV 760 does not seem to recognize or use them. My other GPS uses the same files and the announcements come through at the selected distance. I have loaded them the same way and just can't seem to get them to work on the 760. What am I doing wrong?

I have a 55 LM
My GPS comes with Junction view.
What is the extra "JCV" file and do I need it?
What would be the benefit of downloading it?
And last, how much room does it take on the GPS?

I recently updated Basecamp. Then I selected the Help tap from the Menu Bar. When I selected the Help or (F1) from the submenu, I get a “File not found" result.

I am wondering where I can find this file for the Help submenu ?

Curious, purchased new Garmin Nuvi 2689LTM, works great, the question is I am in USA and seem to have the one womens voice (for digital for reading street names)is there an optional voice, not celebrity just another digital maybe male. I came from the TomTom world and had two voices a male and female and male was a little clearer.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 350, 360, and 500. They all are using the same current City Navigator maps. They all have the same settings. However, when I select the same destination, they don't always select the same route. Has anybody else here noticed that same thing?

I read the thread about 'Trained Garmin' and at that time never heard or saw anything about that.....

Yesterday, we got in car and plugged in 2689. Hit Accept, then View Map...... THAT IS ALL... We did NOT select any router or hit any other keys....
We were headed to the Rec Center, as we do quite often....

I'm starting to use Basecamp, but I still like Mapsource. However, my Mapsource program no longer shows the installed Garmin CNNA maps in the map selection menu bar. It's done it for years but has suddenly decided to go blind. Basecamp shows them with no problem in it's map selection menu bar.

Most of the members who have been on POI Factory for a while have read this in the past.

For new members or anyone who may have missed it. Garmin says you can train your device. As for all things certain limitations are there.A reset of the GPS most likely would remove all the data it has learned.

Can I train my Garmin to provide better estimated times of arrival (ETA)?

BaseCamp 4.6.1 for Mac is Now Available
The following is a list of changes:

Added support for downloading preview imagery for BirdsEye select.
Added support for track metadata from FIT files.
Added support for importing FIT files.
Added support for displaying DEM shading for some cycling map products.
Improved map rendering performance.
Updated the Czech translation for 'road'.

Maybe i missed it but why did Garmin hide the picture viewer in the 3597 over in the volume control page

Hello Friends,

I am not sure how many members in this forum own NuviCam. Secondly, how many are using NuviCam with Smart Link app for traffic.

I have downloaded city navigator Europe NT from Garmin and it installed on my Nuvi 1490. I can only access the maps on this install if I have the unit plugged into the computer. Is there a way to install the map on the computer and not have to have the unit plugged into the computer?

Want to know more about the GPS signals you use every day and what's in the future?

When using Garmin Express to update maps takes a very long time. Is anyone else having this problem
