Garmin talk

I thought I would let everyone know my Street Pilot 7500 is using a Sandisk Ultra II SDHC 8GB card. I use is to hold my books-on-mp3 and music, and everything works well with the built in media player.

I orginally loaded all my POI's directly in the Nuvi 750. I just got a SD card and loaded them on the card.

Hello....I am a newbie to GPS.

I own a NUVI660 and have two questions:

1. In "Extras" under CustomPOIs I want to remove all of the POI's I have loaded? How do I do that please?

I have a nuvi 750 using mapquest to plan routes. Using UNFlag to take out all the via points. Got tired of hearing all the announcements. When you stray from the route it recalculates a new route. I then have to reload my route and start again. Does anyone know of a better way.

Is this device and software capable of using POI files?

I have followed instructions but to no avail. I would sincerely appreciate a step-by-step list of instructions if POIs apply to this software (City Navigator North America NT 2009) and device. Thank you.

Can someone explain how to convert .mp3 files to .wav? I understand this is what I need for a Nuvi 200.

Awhile back, I created and submitted a POI file for Air Museums in Texas. I drove by one of the sites at 70 mph on the freeway this afternoon and tapped the "car" and told it to save the coordinates and of course, named the site. My question is this, can I find the coordinates in that Favorite so that I can send in an update for the POI file?

I have a Nuvi 255W. When I upload the data into Mapsource there is a tab called 'tracks' which contains all the data of where I have been what time speed etc...

How can i delete the tracks on my Nuvi so this info is not there anymore?

On several of my major streets, my Nuvi posts the speed limit of the road I'm on. Great feature! Is it possible to have it sound an alert if I'm driving over the speed limit to encourage me to slow down?

I have a Garmin Nuvi 750 and just bought a memory card for it. I formatted it in my card reader and put some music on it. The Garmin does not recognize it. What am I doing wrong?

I tried to use the bluetooth on my unit with my sprint phone. connects up great but evertime i get in the car it automatically pairs up and i stop this i want to be able to manually do it

I have been loading POI's on my 750. When do you need to worry about putting so many on it, that it affects the performance of the unit? So far I have 125,468.

how do you delete down loaded poi's on a nuvi 250w

I recently lost everything on my hard drive. I don't remember having any trouble seting POI Loader up the last time...But. I am tring to "select where to save Points of Interest to: I chose MapSource (advanced).

I know it's been said many times in the past, but I am now a believer. My 14-month old nuvi 660 stopped acquiring satellites a week ago. I upgraded the firmware, tried all the easy stuff, finally called Garmin. They had me do a hard reset, no change. They gave me an RMA, I immediately sent the 660 to them. I got a "newly overhauled" unit back yesterday. Runs great!

I have a Garmin 340c and want to put topo maps and new city navigator information on my sandisk card. I have tried a couple of times, but it only lets me put the city navigator street map on the sandisk card and I relized it was naming the topo and city maps the same file..Is there a way I can put both on my sandisk card? My card is 2GB
