I'm at the point now that black friday don't seem to be the big deal, you may want to hold off till the second week of December Now.
Hey this economy is so screwed and the retailers are going to have to almost have sex with people to get them to part with the bucks.

This is definitely a buyers market out there for those who are patient. There will be such a glut of GPSr's as we near Christmas retailers will be just about giving them away to get rid of them.

Have you seen how many new GPSr's have popped up on Televison Ad's alone?

Well, I took the plunge, too. Could not resist the $349, no tax, no shipping charges. I trust Amazon.com, so I am comfortable with the purchase. Can't wait to get it.

Man, I'm tempted... even with the Canadian Buck worth around $0.81 US. Might buy it and then go pick it up from the Lynnwood (Wa.) store. Decisions, decisions, should I wait or should I buy???

But it is offered at that same price from abt electronics..... BUT BEWARE... they do NOT have the same return policy as Car-Toys had.

Car-Toys return was 30 days unlimited satisfaction guaranteed.. period.

ABT electronics has a 10% restocking fee if the itme has been opened.

So you will be zapped for 10% ($35) if you open it and decide it's not what you wanted or needed, or gave as a gift.

So you have to pay close attention to the return policy of each individual seller on Amazon or on-line as they differ.

pratzert, I think you're right. Oh well...waited too long. Guess we'll have to see what kind of deals will come up this December/Holiday season.

I'm glad I jumped on this I'd been wanting to upgrade from my 350.

I purchased one from Abt for $350.00 while it said it was "in stock" and within 10 hours I received an email that said the product was back ordered 7-10 days. I don't mind, however, because the price was such a steal.

I bought the Garmin 765t at this very site on Thanksgiving for $349.99 no tax no shipping charges. Yesterday it was $369.99...today they are selling it for $497.00
