Chase Bank Nationwide?

Hi,

New to this and hoping I'm posting correctly.

Am looking for a national Chase Bank branch POI, not just ATM file which is available. Many branches have ATMs but, unfortunately, they're not included in the non_branch file. Does anyone know if this is available?

Many thanks, love the site.

POI Requests.

I'd like to see one for Sunoco Gas Stations.
Also add Connecticut to the SUM ATM's POI.

Thanks!

I am a member of 24 hr fitness and travel frequently. A POI file for them would be a welcome addtion. Thanks

I see a lot of Red Light Cameras, How about some type of POI for the Red Lights them selves! Is that possible? It would be nice to see approaching red lights on the GPS!

Oh, you mean actual red lights...

Just drive faster, they'll all be green when you arrive.

No, I think he's asking about a file with ALL the red lights themselves.

This would be impossible to compile and really there's not practical reason to even try.

I think I'll stick with "seeing" the redlights (or green, or yellow) by looking out my windshield, the old fashion way thank you, please.

It's Possible, But Why Do It

seaworthy wrote:

It's possible to create a POI file for every traffic light in the country. But why do it?

US wide Speedtrap POI?

Just curious if anyone has one of these? Yes, I know the police aren't always in the same place, but there are certain locations that you can always see them in the same location quite often. This would be a good file to have to, especially since I travel alot by car. I've seen other people posting local areas around them (Thanks to those who posted theirs, I've combined a few of them together for my use grin ). Anyone interested in starting one?

Since you already have most of the info why don't you try to build a poi for winghouse. It could be a good learning experiance for you if you haven't built one before.

Nitrogen air fill ups

If anyone purchases tires from Costco (especially here in Southern Cal) you can relate that it is a pain to find places that actually offer nitrogen to refill the air in those tires. The only place I know that fills tires with air is Costco itself and that isn't always the most convenient place. I would love to learn of other locations that will fill nitrogen into my auto tires.

I have found some auto dealers also offer to fill tires with nitrogen, but then again it is a hit or mostly miss type of arrangement. I haven't tried any of the chains such as NTB but then I usually only go into those places if I need tires and they are the least expensive.

Unusual ROck Formations?

THis is probably really a niche idea, but I'd like to see some of the desert hounds post lat/long for unusual rock formations.

THere are pictures floating around the net of this type of thing - skull shaped rocks, etc. Phallus shaped rocks seem to be rather popular things for people to photograph...but that's another story....

Example: (skull rock in Joshua Tree National Park)

Rails to Trails Locations in the US

I looked, but I could not find these. Am I missing them, or do they need to added. These are bike and foot trails that have been made over old RR routes. The start and finish locations for each trail would be nice.

I second that emotion!

Volcanos

graywolf1971 wrote:

I'm planning on building a file that contains all of the volcanoes that have erupted in the last 10,000 years or so. This make take a little while since I've got other more pressing responsibilities... I'd like to have one that has all active, dormant & extinct volcanoes in the US, but that would be rather serious research project. We just drove through the volcano fields between Springville, Az & Show Low, Az. a few days ago. There are more than 400 cinder cones there alone and are about 300,000 years old. I've yet to find a listing of all of their coordinates.

Useful POI

How about a poi file of Habitat for Humanity's ReStores? Stopped by one while on vacation last month out of curiosity. Seems like it would be a win-win situation. They have everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink and all the money goes back into Habitat for Humanity's operation. You get good slightly used products at great prices and it helps those that need help.

Not savy enough to do this on my own but I did research the site for locations incase anybody else felt ambitious enough.
