I'm doing some programming for the site that will add a file upload section, where you can share POI files you've created.

My coding skills are a little rusty, so the initial functionality will be pretty basic

I hope to have it ready for next week.

JM and I used to live in Phoenixville Pennsylvania and we really enjoyed taking our children and visitors to the Valley Forge visitors Center.

We have added this new forum so we can start building a database of interesting places to visit. These are places that you might send a guest who is visiting your city on vacation or places that you have enjoyed as a tourist in other cities.
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to pick a city and have a list of places that have been recommended by your friends here at the POI Factory.
Please post your places here. We need the name of the place and the coordinates to add them to the database. A phone number and address are nice extras.

Anybody out there in POI world has a link or knows a link to campgrounds in the USA? This would be cool.

I work in construction as an electrician and thought it would be great if I was able to locate a local Home Depot or Lowes to pick up stock. Would it possible to assemble such a poi list?

Hello all, first post here.

Question is does the "Parks" POI db have the rest areas in them? Is there some other DB I should be looking for?

I just have to admit it now, I have the bladder of a pregnant squirrel (sorry to be so graphic). I swear I know every rest stop from LA to San Diego. But I am doing more road trips and wanted to travel with less stress.

My 4 sons and I are all avid Paintball players.

I created a Garmin .cvs File of ALL the Paintball fields I could find in Florida.

I will be expanding this file over the next few weeks to include as many Paintball fields I can from the South Eastern states.
Just the Florida file has about 75 POI sites.

Do you post files from normal people, and if so, How do I get the file posted ???

Last one for tonight -- Churches and other places of worship can now be downloaded by region. The full USA file is still available, but now you have the option to download just a region.
