User Search
JM or Angela, I was trying to lookup a user by his username. There doesn't seem to be a way to search on username. Not even from the User List, since Search only takes you to results in the discussion. Then you have to scroll through many pages to find a post that the user you are looking for, made, and click on the name.
Would it be possible to make the User List searchable?

Way.. off topic but perhaps someone knows
Off topic but this is a pretty tech savvy group so.
I get my TV trough a box (DVR) that has an optical out that is unused. I would like to use that output to send a BlueTooth signal to my Bose head phones. I am hoping that by tapping this source of audio it will not affect the signal (audio) going to the TV. All.. to accommodate two levels of desired volume.
Is there such a gadget?

If you have a Dell Inspiron 5759...
After updating the bios from 1.2.7 to 1.4.1 Windows 7 will no longer complete the boot process.
Of course, the system is out of warranty, and the fine people at Dell can't seem to help. They claim it's a software issue.

Attackers Spread Malware Via Fake Meltdown/Spectre Patches
The Meltdown/Spectre saga is not over yet, at least not until everyone has patched both their operating system as well as their BIOS firmware. However, we’re already starting to see attackers try to take advantage of this situation by publishing fake patches that contain malware.
